I think we all imagine you haven't seen many Japanese animated films to make such a call. And even if you had seen every one and hated em all, their lack of quality is why they don't go mainstream is ridiculous. Yknow? You can't make blanket, condescending, and yes...ill informed statements such as that one and expect users to just laugh and ignore it.

In comparison to Pixar films, in my opinion, Japanese animation is inferior.
EVERY Pixar film has focused on adult themes, to some degree. They've focused on adult characters and their stories. And they handle it with a delicate touch. Every Pixar film has a degree of brilliance, and most are complete, fulfilling and emotional films.
