Nah, it made relatively few people's lists (14), but it did end up on several top 20s.

Did you check just for fun how the voting would have been without a passion system. Would there be significant changes to it?

In my opinion, the overall list would have been worse. I guess I could get rid of the point system and put up the top 20 or so tomorrow...

Keep in mind that films like City Lights would be completely out of the running then.

I have the sad feeling my number 2 won't make it in the top 100. :tears:

Wizard of Oz should be much higher.
And LMS...I mean I liked it, but better than all these classics? I think not.

Basically, two people had it in their top 5. And another one in their top 15. And trust me, that makes a huge difference.

I don't see Temple of Doom in there, hmmm....

It better not make it. I hate that movie with a fiery passion that consumes my soul.

Man. I can't imagine not having seen Wizard of Oz. It was one of the first films I ever saw, and one of the one's I've seen the most. Are you not interested, or just haven't gotten around to it?

Haven't gotten around to it since I didn't spend my childhood here. :wub2:

You're right. Doom was worse than Crusade, but neither can hold a candle to Raiders.

Actually higher than I'd have it, though I certainly won't complain about its being there.

You know you're not officially an American until you have, right?

And I second the "WTF?" reactions to the high-ness of LMS. I enjoyed it, but THAT much?

Haven't seen LOA, but I refuse to until I can on the big screen. It just seems like a film that deserves nothing less.

Not surprising if you've kept track of the reviews it's gotten at KJ.
