It deserves to be much higher, but I'm glad it made it. One of my favourite films, and one of the best films of all time, period. Here goes my No. 1. Hitchcock at his best. Glad Children of Men isn't higher.

Well, maybe not more than four..but I'd take Vertigo, Rear Window and Psycho over it...on the other hand, I haven't seen it in a couple years and I do love the film, so maybe that would change..dunno.

Thank god its not in the 50!! Children of Men Vertigo was a flop when it was released so it was seen by few until it was restored in colour a decade or two back. Thats why it is liked so much now. North by Northwest has been seen for almost 50 years now.

My favourite Hitchcock's are Vertigo, Notorious, Rear Window, and North by Northwest.

Nice little animated trio there. Hopefully that's not it as far as animation. Rear Window is Hitchcock's best. And yay for The Good the Bad and the Ugly!!!!

I was hoping higher, but that's still high for a film only 10 months old... Lovin' the placements for Monsters, Inc., Beauty and the Beast and Spirited Away (That should be much higher tho ).

Re: WORLD OF KJ'S 100 GREATEST MOVIES: The 60s
lol i converted so many people who didn't know Hitchcock into adoring fans by suggesting they watch Vertigo and such.
Number 62, is sad. It should be much higher. The final showdown is so tense!!! Also the music is great. It is to slow at parts but a great western.

It's Burton's 2nd best movie. Not in my top 20, but Burton obviously has some fans.
