Surprised Monsters Inc. made it. So five films from Pixar?

Spirited Away.

when i was in India they had one channel playing speed all day (where i was staying) It was the only good thing on so i watched it like 6 times over like 4 weeks. It was good.

Nice inclusions of foreign cinema with spirited away, which is an amazing Japanese animation film

So....will Freddy vs Jason make the top 50? Becoming more likely by the minute...

Three animated movies in a row? Interesting.

Monsters, Inc is super light Pixar, so I'm kind of surprised to see it on the list period.

Makes sense. Few of us have seen but those who did loved it. I think I had it at like #21 or something, so it barely got knocked out.

Hahahah, no! There is an even bigger example of sheer conincidence coming up. HUGE.

Spirited Away and Monsters had the same number of points, but Monsters was ranked higher among the top 20s. Beauty and the Beast was ahead of both by 0.5 points.

Yeah, I don't think it's top 100 material at all. But it's a harmless pick. I mean, the film is so inoffensive...

#64: REAR WINDOW

It deserves to be much higher, but I'm glad it made it. One of my favourite films, and one of the best films of all time, period.

It is a really good movie. Im not sure if I liked this or Vertigo more. Both are quite excellent.

Nothing against the pick per se, but why's it ahead of Hitch's best NBNW? Because of Disturbia?

That's not Hitchcock's best. :P Hitchcock's best was my number 9, and I hope that it shows up later.

LOL, you can't be serious? I think Rear Window is too well known for people's tastes to be influenced by Disturbia.

North by Northwest right now is, in general, underrated compared to the other Hitchcock masterpieces. Vertigo is probably the star child right now, the way Rear Window used to be.

You're not serious, are you? NBNW is the master piece of Hitch, a perfect movie...
