I guess you could say I liked Babel and hated Crash?
Certainly neither of them are deserving of a Best Picture award. I am similar, I HATED Crash, Babel was a mixed bag, some things worked, others didn't, I didn't hate it but I am not oging to watch it again. I left Crash seeing it opening wweekend,t hings good God that was horrible, I left Babel thinking, well why are we talking about this again...
Niether deserved to be nominated, let alone win.

I know you guys are probably starting to hate my Babel bashing, but here it is:
Crash- 9/10
Babel- 3/10
Crash is such a great film and deserving of best picture, but Babel is not even a movie. It's just so shit and terribly made and so on.

Here's my non-scientific/statistically inaccurate poll summary:
Only 6 people showed some love for Babel, while 13 gave their heart to Crash.
And in the hate department, 13 detested Crash, while an overwhelming 18 of those polled expressed their hatred towards Babel.
Is Babel the most hated bigtime serious movie ever on WOKJ?

Babel: A-
Crash should not have won BP. Brokeback Mountain was a much better film.
Babel, while not perfect, was better than The Departed for me. Babel or LMS, wouldn't have minded either of them.

I loathe Crash.
Babel just is. I don't think it's great. It just... is. Very indifferent now about it. So I won't vote. My feelings on Babel are not represented by the above statements.

I haven't seen Crash, but Babel is a film without story or anything inspiring, it is jsut a mangled mess that I think only gets any acclaim because it demoralizes America which is the in thing across the world which really is sad.
