While getting a 60 ratio of course.
And only 1400 with a 70 ratio. Yes. Kid films tail off quickly throughout the day. My early numbers assume 800-1000 reviews with a ratio of 55-60. They are right about Cars having a similar number of reviews at this point, but I've got a few other variables I'm playing with on my nerd graph. They could very well be worth nothing, though. I'm sure one of those variables is the different release date, since it's hard to have a great start if many schools are still open and you are a kids flick. What schools are these? It's almost July for crying out loud.
He/she means that all schools are out now.

Just wanted to point out that Ratatouille's ratio should be slightly larger than Incredibles, due to the sneaks two weeks ago.

Sicko is one of the films where frontpage exposure could distort the ratio the most since both Moore and health care attract huge attention even for people who didn't know the film is opening.

Yeah, but you get the ratios right so often that I swear you have a stack of tarot cards and a Ouija board in your room.

The early crowd reports (and they are early) suggest Ratatouille may be performing better than the reviews show. If so, we're looking at very low ratio - even for a kid's film.

I will guess a ratio of 30 for Ratatouille.
Ok, so with 1200 reviews, what friday number does that equal?
(I still have no idea how to calculate guesstimates based on ratios. All I know is that lower is better.)

That'd be $40 mil OD... HAH!
I would say maybe a 50 ratio at best.
And if it ends up with 1200 reviews, that's a $24 mil OD, which would become a $70+ mil OW

1000 is the most reviews I see it getting. That could produce a $20M day. I'm still sticking with my earlier projection for now.

We're keeping track of how much Die Hard and Sicko make on Friday, so:

Sicko - 1343 (1087), 922 (990) Friday, +78 (+297), B-

Sub-2M weekend for Evening? It really looks like it's in deep trouble.

3 hours:
Live Free or Die Hard - 3218 (695), 598 (85) Friday, +128 (+11), A-
Ratatouille - 441 (59), +87 (+8), A-
Sicko - 1497 (945), 1077 (848) Friday, +41 (+13), B-
Evening - 52 (22), +7 (+0), B+
Sicko slowed down dramatically, and Evening looks as dead as it gets. Cars had 694 at this point, so Ratatouille must be looking at a very low ratio unless crowd reports so far don't represent the whole picture.

To add to my post in the crowd report, I've seen numerous sellouts for both Ratatouille and Die Hard in local theaters. Looks promising for both.

I have maintained all along tghat DH has a chance to jump 100% today. I don't think everyone had a chance to see it on Wed and many of us, like me were waiting until the weekend. The movie is phenominal and i think it could do 40 mill this weekend.

Live Free or Die Hard - 3541 (733), 921 (123) Friday, +286 (+8), A-
Ratatouille - 705 (97), +243 (+15), A-
Sicko - 1875 (1219), 1455 (1112) Friday, +362 (+19), B-
Evening - 78 (30), +23 (+3), B+
Unclogged, good time to do a projection:
Die Hard - heading to a 1,300-1,400 finish, so pretty much $9-10m as expected.
Ratatouille - since it attracts more adults comparing to a typical family film, the night pace should be steady, so look like $17-19m.
Sicko - I really don't have much idea, but even with an 800 ratio, $2m looks to be secured.
Evening - can't see it hitting $1m with only 78 reviews and 30 of them written.
