Post Merrin Dungey dumped from Private Practice
According to sources, shes been replaced with Audra McDonald.

This show deserves to fail now.
Francie should drop kick the shit out of it. She doesn't like coffee ice cream and shes damn mad her role has been given away.

Like I said in the Grey's thread, I like Merrin Dungey, but she really was not good in the pilot at all.

Audra McDonald's a great, great actress, so...

Are you talking about the black chick? Cause yeah she was pretty bad. I also thought the guy that kept having problems with Internet hookers was awful too.

Hah, coffee ice cream.

But you know, though I also thought her chemistry with Kate Walsh was minimal, I would've never really thought about completely dumping her from the show. Makes you think that there might have been something else going on behind the scenes to warrant this.

I always thought she was good on Alias but never great. I saw an episode of Summerland once. She was pretty bad on it, not gonna lie, but I'm going to blame the horrific show for that, not her.

I don't know, maybe it was the right move. Gotta feel kinda bad for her, though.

People seemed to complain about Dungey/Walsh's chemistry alot and commented that she didnt really do much for the role.

I don't think Merrin Dungey is a fantastic actress. She is pretty good. But i love her for Alias more than her actual acting skills.

Audra McDonald? I wasn't familar with that name so I checked the internet and I still haven't really seen much that she did. Just curious, what show have you seen her do that was great.

Anytime Michael likes anything, you automatically know it was somehow associated with Alias.

Well, I said that, not Michael, but...

Anyway, Audra McDonald has won 4 Tonys in the last 11 years, Patches. She's an amazing stage actress (and has a brilliant singing voice).

ok, so it seems that your comments were about her singing and stage(theatre) work.
