If you were looking for that level of medical accuracy, clearly you were watching the wrong movie...

Fantastic Movie!!!!!!
Non stop thrill ride that really exceeded my expectations. Willis is back, and I hope this movie makes good money so we can get a sequel. The storyline was great, as well as the characters and plot.
Best scenes are with Freddy in the basement.

After all in the trailer, Willis is pointing a gun when he says Yippie Kay Yea, and theres other scenes like "You sound like a real scary guy"
God I can't wait for an Unrated DVD. That will be all the more amazing and could eclipse Vengence for the 2nd best of the series, but when three of the films have A+ and the other an A- who really cares
Exactly..when he takes the walkie talkie from the guy..DIdnt he punch him a few times?

I really liked Justin Long's character and role. and Mcclain's daughter was very sassy
The movie was a plain blast, great action, loved the interaction between long and willis.
I hope there is a sequel, and I really hope that long comes back.

"I dont want to hurt you"
"Lets go outside right now, we'll see who gets hurt"
"Your definitely his daughter"

Both Long and Winstead were very good in their respective roles. If anything, there should have been more of the latter.

just saw it 1 hour ago. and i find it good as i expected. but still below DH3. but it's still great to have good old John McClane back with his all crazy badass detective attitude dealing with the bad guys.that's the most important thing in the movie. the action was over the top. the story was okay can't expect much. Justin play his role just fine to match Willis. i think Live Free Or Die Hard wraps all Die Hard saga. there is not necessary to do another Die Hard chapter. this one should closed the case.
LFODH gets a solid A from me.

Die Hard Movies (best to worst):
1. DH4 & DH1 (tie) 2. DH2 (a close second) 3. DH3 (far behind all of the above)
I'm going to go vomit now.

Oh my gosh, I had so much fun! It was completely preposterous, but incredibly entertaining. It's nice to see a "real" action movie again after being subjected to the likes of those annoying pirates for the umpteenth time. Bruce Willis slips effortlessly back into John McClane, despite the 12-year gap. Justin Long is surprisingly funny, Timothy Olyphant is an effective villain, Maggie Q gets to have some fun as a feisty henchwoman, and Mary Elizabeth Winstead warranted more screen time with her sassy "my father's daughter" character. It's nowhere near as good as Die Hard 1 (which, along with Speed, is one of the best action pictures ever made), but it's undoubtedly a step up from 1995's With a Vengeance. It's not great art, but it delivers everything you could ask for in a summer popcorn movie. Tremendous fun. B+

That was awesome when McClane beat the shit out of the Asian girl. I had no clue they could show that in a PG-13 movie.
Did anyone else notice th bad editing though? You can clearly see that they cut some f bombs out of the movie in about 5 spots. There's even one scene after the plant explodes and Willis and Long are getting out of the blown up van and you can see Long's character moving his lips but no sound is coming out. You can clearly see that they shot this movie with the intention of an R rating.

That was quite terrible.
Fortunately, everything else was so incredibly kickass that I don't give a shit. Badass movie, and completly pointless - the way an action movie should be.

Three will be an Unrated DVD, Willis almost sweared to it. I can't wait. It was awesome, but the F-bombs will just at to the hilarity

Only thing though with Die Hard now most likely being a good hit. If they make a Die Hard 5, would they go for Pg-13 from the start?

A-. Best movie of the year so far. Probably equal to number 3 in my book.
1. Die Hard - A
2. Live Free or Die Hard - A-
3. Die Hard with a Vengerance - A-
4. Die Harder - B+

I don't see why they wouldn't make it PG-13 with the success of LFoDH as a PG-13 movie. I could see them filming it as an R rated movie, editing it down to a PG-13 movie for theater, and then offering the full R rated movie as an unrated DVD.

saw it again this morning. pretty sick flick
*it was very awkward the first time because the whole time ive followed this film i thought Long played mcclanes son lol i kept waiting for the big reveal
i cant get over how tough they tried to make that asian chick come off
-mauls 4 us soliders with kicks (????)
-beats up mcclane
-gets beat up bvy mcclane nthrown into shelf that fallson her but shes magically fine
-rammed with car, shes ok
-on hodo of car, crhashes through wall and elevator shaft at 100 mph
-still fine enough to climb up the car
also, wtf is up with die hard films n weak finales? the only, imo, cool, death of a villainis in die hard 2. hans was good withthe tape; the one in 3was a huge "wtf is happening" and this time was even stupider; though the lines leading up to it were badass
yes, the unrated dvd will be superb
and i was very surprised at how good long n winstead were tough olyphant was very weak.

Well its the same with Indiana Jones, its not about the Main villian, its the henchmen that do the dirty work, and it makes sense, usually the brains arent the best fighters in reality. I liked the third climax though "Say hello to your brother for me." But nothing tops the first in my opinion (The slow motion and music as Hans starts to point his gun when hes hanging on by Ellis' stupid Rolex watch. And thinking about that, I just realized they spoofed that in Last Action Hero, another McTiernen film when Arnie falls in slow motion off the building, haha)
I dont think the finales are particularly bad, just less action.

One final thing, I kind of always loved the Helicopter bit in the trailer thinking how cool it would be, but thinking about it, McClane is against a Helicopter in three of the four films, and the 2nd finale takes place on the wing of a plane. A running theme, much like the big rig chase in a Terminator film.
