Not at all. It's waaaay early to throw out projections, but for entertainment purposes only, I've got its pacing below $35M and falling. 1408, on the other hand, is doing well without any front page exposure.

If that's the case, $40M+ would become a lot more likely.

this is what i see
109 user reviews / 115 user ratings
i see no reason why the review-to-rating ratio would be any less then 1:4....109x4=436 right ow.

200 is about right considering it was on front page. I don't expect the written ratio to be lower than 1:2.5 at this point.

Doesn't matter when you are on front page.

Front page placement generally squashes the written to overall ratios. Although, to to be fair, EA wasn't on there very long today.

wow, it is super clogged today.... I don't know how we are going to be able to gauge this one at all... it's written and actual reviews are nearly identical...

 About Evan Almighty
If you read the written reviews a huge amount seem to be from the insane amount of church preview screenings.

...which would suggest a high ratio, right?

Only if those reviews are a large percentage of what we finish with. The standard demo for this type of movie (with a huge TC) should produce a fairly conventional ratio.

True, but reading more and more of them, a sizable amount is religion based squabbling "and I haven't seen the movie but ..."

EA's review total actually decreased, so I've left it at +0 for now. With everything so clogged, it's hard to say where we stand. Stay tuned, I guess.

If they were from a church group I would say the ratio would be smaller because they usually come in with a large group or congregation of at least a dozen people as opposed to a normal theater goer who brings along his girlfriend or a few friends
Now for BKB's Ronnies parking lot report to see if there are indeed a few buses in the parking lot

If what you said was true about the buses, then its really reaching out to the church groups which may explain the high tracking

If anything will propel Evan to big numbers, it's going to be church groups, though I could just as easily see the majority of them not going to it.
