1. Troy - A [January 7]
2. White Noise - No Grade Yet [January 8]

I'll edit in a grade when I actually have one. The movie is awesome until the last 20 minutes, and then everything goes crazy, and I'm completely lost on what actually happened in that movie.

Today I watched Cowboy Bebop movie, or atleast I think that was the name. Kinda entertaining for a C+ grade.

Last night l watched Yi Yi (A One and a Two; 2000)
Image
It's quite possibly the most beautiful movie l've ever seen. The story is rather simple, and it's quite long (10 minutes or so shy of 2 hours) but it's absolutely lovely. Loved it. A

I'm stealing andaroo's format...

I watched three movies last night (well...two were part of today, heh)

Movie - Day Started - Title - Year Released - Director - Grade
1. 01-07-2005: Garden State (2004, Zach Braff). Grade: 9.6/10
2. 01-07-2005: The Birdcage (1996, Mike Nichols). Grade: 9.4/10
3. 01-08-2005: I, Robot (2004, Alexander Proyas). Grade: 8.7/10

Planning on seeing Sideways and watching Napoleon Dynamite, Eternal Sunshine, or Dr. Strangelove tonight

Who didn't like Twister, BTTF? I thought that was one of the better disaster-type movies I've seen.

Especially compared to things like... The Core.

Come on guys, post why you liked some things, or your experiences, lets get some discussion going.

Endless lists are boring :?

Yeah, I was kinda hoping that people would discuss why they liked or disliked movies. That was kind of the purpose. Discussion! It's a good thing! I know some people are already doing it, so that's good. It'd be nice if everyone wrote atleast a sentence or two about the movie.

I really liked the chemistry between Dunst and Bettany. The first hour when they fall in love is absolutely lovely and charming. It gets a bit weaker when the usual stumbling stones threaten to destroy their relationship and the tennis scenes were unconving (the movements of the actors were unrealistic and it was too obvious they used CGI enhancement), but I really felt for those characters. I think it undeservingly underperformed at the box office (compared for instance to Bridget Jones 2)

01. 01/07/05: Legeally Blonde 2 - C-
I loved the first movie, but this one was just so bad in comparison. The plot itself was ridiculous.

02. 01/08/05: The Horse Whisperer - A-
