Very fun and entertaining. On par with the original for me, which I really enjoyed.

Who the hell said this wasn't faithful??? The Silver Surfer and his board looked exactly like the damn comic.. WTF??

While I understand that some people are not going to like FF:ROTSS, my primary reaction is one of sadness. I can't blame anyone, because many are simply unable to recognize a good thing when they see it due to current conditioning, fashion, and marketing. This is another one I'm going to put in the Witherberry Time Capsule for re-viewing at the WOKJ reunion dinner in the year 2025. By that time, the only remaining fans of the Spider-Man series will a few aging emos, and the Fantastic Four series will have gained the recognition it deserves. As always, future generations will laugh at the foibles of their predecessors.

But the good news is... it may not yet be too late for you to join the party happening right now!!!

The problem is that a silver surfer movie depends on the boxoffice of this movie worldwide which is pretty sad.

Oh god i hope this movie ends up doing better than its predecessor worldwide and then i guess we might have to wait for 2.5-3 years for a silver surfer spin off just like i robot 2.

My gut feeling is that fox won't do any more f4 movies even if does well worldwide which in my opinion will be a good decision.

It's very bad that an 89 minute 'good thing' felt like three hours.

Very fun film. But why the fuck was Galactus a big old storm cloud? We did see hints of what he actually looked like through shadows and and silhouettes, but...

I'm pretty sure I would consider seeing that if this occurred for three minutes or more. Otherwise, prob not.

HAHA yes there's a scene where he is shirtless. I think it's just one scene and it's less than 3 minutes.

Sadly, I watched the film wedged between a young girls' soccer team. Imagine their little cat calls when he showed up shirtless.

If they go ahead with the third film and focus on, say, Namor the Submariner (or possibly the Inhumans), we could see some more Human Torch shirtlessness.

Namor in comics, too me, is quite an uninteresting character, but Inhumans...mmm. That, I'd like a lot.

Crystal was hot. Alba is the only chick (well, with powers) in the movies so why can't they add more, you know?

I liked the original but I loved this one. The action scenes were much better done than the first and there were more of them. The characters still have great chemistry between them. But the main thing that was added was the Silver Surfer. He just oozes cool and is very well done in the movie. My only complaint is that I wanted more of him in the movie. I would love to see a spin-off with him as the main character. All-in-all this is what summer is all about.

i think bradley has some good taste when it comes to indies and arthouse flicks. but his opinions of this piece of shit is enough for me to disregard him for life.

I'll sum it up in three words: Boring, corny and stupid.

The action sequences are as boring as you can get. They're unimaginative, not exciting and oddly short. On a sidenote, the CGI isn't horiffic. The only thing that looked horrible was whenever Reed stretched. Corny? Well it's not as bad as I thought it would be considering the PG rating (There really is no difference between this one and the last one to warrant a change), but the hugging, and the sappiness with the surfer, bah. The stupid? The giant cloud of doom!!!!

It was cheesy and quite dumb but great mindless fun nonetheless.

The classic case of the apple that wanted to be an orange?

Fantasic Four as a series was always meant as silly fun entertainment. Light, humourous. This movie has those things too. But then it goes and spends 60% of its running time on thing like the Rex + Sue relationship, Johnny feeling down, etc., and it doesn't work. The attempts at drama and making us feel for the characters completley fall flat, mostly due to Alba's horrid acting and the poor screenplay. This movie should've realized all its strengths lies in shallow light entertainment, and nothing else. As a result all those dramatic scenes are flat out boring.

Action is good, though there isn't enough. Silver Surfer is cool. Galactacus was actually pretty decent as well.

Alba is HORRIBLE here. Worst performance I have seen in a long time. The others seemed to have fun when the movie lets them. I loved the airplane and nightclub scenes near the beginning, but it goes downhill from there.

Wasn't a fan of how they used Dr. Doom. Seemed like he needed... more screentime? Felt kind of stuffed in.

As a whole, didn't hate it, mostly forgettable stuff though. It wasn't as fun as it should've been. Surprise, the first wasn't either. I would love to see Brett Ratner or Michael Bay take on the third film, would be an improvement, as they know that their strengths are pure entertainment, an approach the FF series needs.

Pretty forgettable, much like the first. Most of the humor failed (I remember one or two spots when I actually laughed, but nothing more than that) and most of the dramatic elements failed due to the bad acting, writing, and direction. The action was pretty decent, but there wasn't enough. Galactus looked pretty kickass...too bad.

I can't say it was the worst movie ever, but this is the poster child of what is wrong with most big budget superhero action movies. A paint by numbers forgetable flick with almost no redeeming qualities whatsoever. All CGI special effects and nothing under the hood. I swear I forgot this movie 10 minutes after I watched it.

The worst thing about the entire movie was that they managed to make Jessica Alba look freakishly ugly 90% of the time. With her hair plastered to her head like a helmet, what appeared to be fake blue eyes, and Michael Jackson-ish looking ultra white skin... it was creepy.

I'll give it a D, and that's being generous.

the first one is one of the all-time worst films ever for me. So this was a pretty positive surprise, even though it was still garbage. I really hate the fact that some people prefer mindless superhero films like this to the serious stuff that actually makes an effort to deliver more than just action, but this was at least somewhat enjoyable, where for me, the first one wasn't at all.
