I admit it -- I don't often venture out of the forums to read the reviews on the main site (mostly because I'm lazy, not just because I think the reviews are so out of tune with my own opinions), but when I happened to read the FF2 review this morning, my eyes just about burnt themselves out of my head trying to decipher the small white font single-spaced on a black background! YOW! Who's the graphic designer behind that decision? It might look cool overall -- if you're not planning on reading it, but YOW!!!

Could well be just me -- but it's a contrast issue that is a factor of both font size and the white on black and the single spacing (perhaps 1.5?)...

White or light text on a black background is generally considered bad web design in places where you are reading paragraphs of text.

I'm with Bradley, it makes the articles unreadable, and I do normally read them.

I'll consider a new color scheme when I come back from vacation.
