I have to say, even though I'll probably enjoy the movie when I see it, I'll be quite pleased if this falls below 200. I still hold a grudge for Singer leaving X-men to do SuperBoring Super-hero. X3 could have been so much better.

Yes, this *almost* makes up for my last club, heh.
Victory! I'm proud.

Now my feelings are all torn. I thought that X3 was trash, and i really liked SR. So of course, X3 does 235mil(ish) and SR looks to maybe, almost, barely, possibly make it to 200mil.
I can remember for months that i was dying to see X3 and pretty much shunned SR entirely. X3 is a crap film that does well, SR is a good film that disappoints. I guess it's good that i want to see Pirates now, and have no animosity towards that. Though now that i've said that i've doomed Pirates to failure.

I was sure this club was filled with over 20 insane people, but now I know better.

I thought this club was just as unlikely as the other, but looks like it'll be right after all.

Um, even if this does happen to make a little over 200m, it's not an insane club. It'll be MUCH closer then the 250m+ club.

I was smart and stayed out of any club. A year ago I might of joined this club. My predict went up to 240 though within the past month due to people saying it would do well. (and oddly my 3 day went up after it changed from Wensday, what was I thinking?)

I wonder who had the lowest prediction. I know I had 163. That will be too low, but if anyone perdicted around 180, they could be close.

With Pirates making as much on a non-Holiday Monday as Superman's first Friday (and opening day minus Tuesday shows) and the Devil Wears Prada set to overtake it in the weekday race - I think it's pretty safe to declare victory here.
That being said - is anyone willing to risk starting a Superman Returns under 185 or under 190 club? I'm wondering...

I'm sorry but Snrub should be thrown out of this club. He joined every club, even the 250m club.

And BOM too . Had I not read Kal-El2006 rant about SR, I would not have hiked it to 200 million and majority of the posters on that site were on his side a few months ago. I didnt even know he was providing false information from CNN without direct links

Magnus wrote: Superman128 actually made me want SR to do this badly. What happend to me was that I just truly thought WB could pull of a MR/HP with this films marketing, but in the end, they pulled a BB-type marketing, though better.
I thought BB's marketing was shit.
I thought Superman's marketing was horrendous. Atleast BB had good marketing material but terrible marketing execution plan. Superman had an awful everything .. including the marketing overload in the last 2 weeks

I thought the teasers were awful, but the tv spots near the end were pretty damn good. I guess it wasn't enough though.
