Pfft, nice try. We all know you don't have a Wii.

Just finished Super Paper Mario. My grade goes UP!
9.0
The last chapter was extremely good, and bumped my grade up to a 9.

Earth Defense Force 2017 (Xbox 360) - A completely mindless 3rd person shooter, reminds me of Serious Sam in a way... waves and waves of enemies and TONS of weapons. For what it is, it is pretty fun so far. It's not the prettiest 360 game, nor is it the deepest, but the fun factor is good. It's shaping up to be a B- or a B.
Halo 3 Beta (Xbox 360) - The 3 maps are getting old and it makes me want the full version more than anything. The new weapons and gadgets are good and the core gameplay is as fun as it ever was. Saving replays is also very cool. The graphics are the only downside. Hopefully they get an extra coat of paint before the end.

Rented Call of Duty 3 (360).
First experience with CoD and I really like it. Multiplayer is great (though I wish it, like all multiplayer games, had a matchmaking system like Halo 2). I think I might even go buy the game after my rental is due back.

Lego Star Wars II (Xbox 360) - Lots of puzzle solving so far. Not really my style of game, but it's got a quirky sense of humor and there's nothing really wrong with it. It'll be a good game to keep my occupied until something good comes out... perhaps Dirt will be that game? Anyhow, LSWII gets a C+.

brought Shadowrun today and I expected it to be a roleplaying shoot em up with a campaign mission but it ended up mainly being online deathmatch team play

Sounds sucky... I'll stay away from that one.
Dirt (demo, Xbox 360) - Dirt is a Rally racing game that looks like it could be a good subsitution for a RalliSport 3, which we'll never see (I loved RS2). It looked good, the cars handled well, the damage modeling was nice... finally a game that I can look forward to!

Yeah, buyers beware. Shadowrun is a strictly online mulitplayer shooter. It has no, i repeat no, single player campaign. If you are considering getting the game I would wait till June 6 when the demo will be released on Marketplace. As for my impressions, I love the game. Best online FPS on the 360. Till Halo 3 of course.

I enjoy the occassional online shooting game, but I don't think I'd ever buy a game that only had that aspect. Even with a game like Halo 1/2, I played the single player more than I ever did the multiplayer. Although, my new favorite thing is co-op mode. I love a good XBL enabled co-op mode!
So, Shadowrun doesn't sound like my kind of game, but I'll try the demo.

In a nutshell, Shadowrun is Counter-Strike but with Magic. So if you like CS you will like Shadowrun. It's a shame there is no single player and all the reviews of the game will knock it for not having that feature but Shadowrun is a fun game. If you have a lot of friends that play the game it make it evene more fun as the game is more team based than Halo.

Mario Party 8 (Nintendo Wii) - It's definitely fun and the Wii controls are great, but you need other peeps to make the MP games fun. The MP series is basically a virtual boardgame, and those're no fun alone. Good thing my nieces and nephews are coming Monday to stay a week or so.

I played Tiger Woods '07 on the 360 last night
It was pretty fantastic. Graphically, gameplay-wise.
A!!!

WTF?
Thanks for the heads-up. I thought it had a single-player mode, I was ready to check it out.

Lara Croft: Tomb Raider Anniversary (PS2) - It's unfortunate I'm having to play this on the PS2, I really wish they had released it multi-console but it seems to be just a Sony thing. They must own the rights to the first game and wouldn't let them release it on the 360. But anyway, it's great. I haven't gotten very far yet, but I really like it. I've had so many "I remember this! / Oh my god, they changed it!" moments. The first level is like exactly like the first level in the original TR, just with a major graphics upgrade. It's very nostalgic playing through the game. It's about onpar with Legend so far, in terms of having fun. I bet it's going to be just as replayable as Legend, which is great.

Crystal Dynamics has always been a solid developer. It was smart of Eidos to hand over Lara to them.

I completed the Star Battle (1-Player) so I can unlock Hammer Bro.
Yeah, it's more fun to play with gullible little children.

It is too bad that it's not on the 360... Legends was shockingly good, but I won't play Anniversary on the PS2. I'd like to try it, but I know I would never make it through a PS2 version, regardless of how good it was. I never got very far into GTA Vice City Stories or Liberty City Stories. So, I'm officially announcing the retirement of my PS2... it moves into the "old school" bin where I will only fire it up every other year to re-live the nostalgia.
On another note... I've been playing a lot more of Lego Star Wars The Original Trilogy. I've been playing co-op with the wife. It's actually a fun co-op game - aside from the ocassional camera issue - and she absolutely loves it.

Call of Juaraz.
Wasted good money on a blind buy. I really thought I would like it because I like western games such as Gun. It is however nowhere as good as Gun. Its in first person but that shouldnt dock points away from it, it gets points taken away because the engine seems like an old X-box transfer into the 360. My migraines from the motion sickness doesnt help matters but when I tried to continue the game, I notice alot of the cool perks in the regular 360 games are missing. They dont give you much to manipulate in the background like the Clancy games. What my main problem with the game is that its extremely linear and doesnt have the open ended gameplay like Gun
Its two weeks in a roll that I wasted money on blind buying games. Monster Madness better not disappoint

PAC MAN:CE A+++++++++++++++++
I already had Pac-Man and Mrs Pac-Man so i was leery about getting the new and much improved one. I wasn't sure it was worth $10 but I read some reviews and listen to some of my friends gush about the game so I decided to buy it and I don't regret it one bit. After Geo Wars this is the second best XBLA game. I thought i would never ever say it, but PAC-MAN CE is AWESOME!!!!!! Buy this game!!! If you're unsure at least try out the demo.

There is a rumor going 'round the the new Lara game might be on its way to XBLM as a full game download.

Wow, I hope. Seems I was wrong about Sony owning the rights and not letting them release it on other consoles, there's gonna be a Wii version of Anniversary. So why the hell did they not release it multi-console like Legend in the first place?
