And that will do it. I'll finish the list up tomorrow night.

This list is all over the place. Fargo and JFK mixed with Dumb and Dumber and Lethal Weapon? I guess if it's your favourites...

49. Lethal Weapon 2 (1989)

The best sequel to any film ever made, that isn't a sequel to Star Wars or Indiana Jones.

AWESOME choice!!

I tried finding that complete quote, but I couldn't find it.

19. Field of Dreams (1989)

"Is this heaven?"

"No, it's Iowa."

Remember how I said during my JFK ramble that that was the best film Costner had been apart of? Well I lied.

It's the second best baseball movie ever made (And if that's not a clue to what's coming up, then I don't know what the hell is). I still get teary-eyed when watching the film.

18. Jaws (1975)

*I edited the Halloween ramble.*

This is the scariest film ever made. Not in terms of shock value, but because of the effect it has, after the film.

16. Rocky (1976)

Gotta love the underdog. He may not have won the fight, but he got the girl. And Bill Conti kicks ass.

I hate to do this again, especially since I said I was ending tonight, but the website is barely working right. I'm not sure if this is the same for everyone else or if it's just on my end, but either the fourm doesn't connect or it's painfully slow. Because of this, and because I have to write a paper, I'm cutting it short tonight. Hopefully the fourm will be working perfectly in the afternoon and I'll finish my list off then.

Tarantino's most underrated and his best film to date.

12. E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial (1982)

I'll admit. It's the only film to make me cry like a little baby. It's the one and only film to be able to do that. The ending is heartbreaking and yet a very happy ending at the same time. Oh, and John Williams' score is kinda good too.

11. The Truman Show (1998)

What Stranger than Fiction did to Will Ferrell, The Truman Show did to Jim Carrey. Sadly, he hasn't been able to top this film ever since. It reamins his best film to date. His performance hits all the right notes. I also love the freedom aspect of the film. That saying, I find it creppy that Peter Weir has admitted that Truman Burbank is Michael Jackson.

9. Back to the Future (1985)

When I was five, I named my first dog Marty because of this film. Think I like it just a little?

8. The Natural (1984)

The best sports film ever made because of how mystical it is. It gets the spirit of baseball down perfectly. I also love the decision they made to get rid of the book's ending (Where he strikes out). I have not read the book and do not know the difference between the film's Roy Hobbs and the book's Roy Hobbs, but if he struck out in the film, it would've ended on such a wrong note that it would've watered down the very last shot of the film and hence would've ruined the film. They made the right decision, exploding lights and all.

And Randy Newman is a genius. I also love the homage to Ted Williams in the film. Hobbs' is left-handed and wears number 9. It's perfect. It also makes sense since Redford is a Red Sox fan. This reminds me, back when Williams died, they held a tribute to him at Fenway Park in which they played the theme to The Natural for about 10 minutes straight. It was really moving.

7. Star Wars (1977)

The original, and the best. I still get chills when Kenobi tells Luke to use the force and let go when he's just about to blow up the Death Star. It's the combination of Alec Guinness' acting, Hammil's acting and Williams' score. That scene is perfect. I also get chills during the final scene thanks to Williams' "March Theme".

6. Groundhog Day (1993)

Harold Ramis Film #6 (Final One)

How do you get someone to hate a film? Setup a TV/VCR (At the time) outside near your pool and everytime you go swimming during the summer, play that film over and over again. I watched the film at least 13 times in the summer of '94. I loved the film then and I still do, but I made my mother completely hate the film and Bill Murray in the process.

Forget Lost in Translation or Broken Flowers, this remains Bill Murray's best performance.

5. Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981)

The best action adventure film of all time. It's also further proof that John Williams kicks ass.
