That looks pretty good for Without a Trace. Decent retention from a low CSI anyway.

Damn it I thought 5th Grader would get killed totally against Grey's  It only lost 300,000 from the 8 PM edition.

Last week's annoying episode of Grey's must be responsible for this week's drop .

Why are people still watching Are You Smarter than A 5th Grader? Like... omigod, it's consistently beating NBC's sitcoms. I think half of America is mentally retarded or something.

Maybe because NBC's sitcoms are too "inside."

What the hell does that even mean? My dad has never seen a single episode of The Office, yet he walked in -- in the middle of the episode -- last night while trying to get me to put on the game, and even he managed to find the show funny. How is that "inside"?

Ah, ok. I'm so used to everyone on PIFeedback saying that like it actually makes sense. My question still stands, though. What does it mean?

What on earth is happening to the ratings?

The pre-finale episode of Grey's getting less than 20 million? The same for CSI getting less than 19 million???

house is just about assured the top scripted show for the season average, especially with Thursday's lackluster ratings since February.

Right now (through last week, so not counting this week's House) the standings are:
CSI 20.479
Greys 19.263
House 19.075

If you add in this week's ratings (not final yet, so we'll see):
CSI 20.42
Greys 19.26
House 19.18

I just don't think there's enough time for there to be much of a difference. House may gain on Greys, but I don't think it can over take CSI. There's only, what, one new episode left? Or two?

Hmmm... where are those numbers from. It's quite interesting. I have all the weekly reported ratings at home but haven't looked to average out House.

That's still pretty damn close. House should have 2 more episodes left while CSI and Grey have their finale's left. I could be wrong on that but the season ends on Wed. May 23rd right?

Zap2it has a season average chart.

I'm not sure exactly when the season ends. I know it's the week of the 21st, but does it end on a Wednesday?

House still has 2 episodes left but the finale I think will air on May 29th after the regular season is over. I think I read that on Futon Critic. ON the Lot has a special premiere on May 22nd.

Why are they so down. Werent the ratings at the beginning of the year at like 25 or something for both Grey's and CSI. God, I can't wait till this years shows are all down with, lately ratings have just been down.. TiVo and iTunes really can't take away THAT many viewers can it?

I don't think Tivo and iTunes can be used as the excuse for Greys and CSI. As far as I know, neither are offered on iTunes, and neither are very high on the most Tivo'd list. At least they weren't last I heard.

people are watching different channels. Think about it, USA TNT Discovery FX all these channels are having great seasons and that means they have to be taking viewers away from somebody.
