 I Got a Phone Call From Sean Salsbury. At noon today, I got a phone call from Sean Salsbury. I was having an interview with him about my third place ranking, and ask me some questions (like how often do you visit the site, when you discovered the site, and so on). I know, despite the strict nature his forums has, he is actually a nice and cool person in real life. He is posting some tibits from the interview on the site for the End of the Year article in the derby section. It was great to talk to him in person. It was fun.

I got a phone call too, but I'm afraid it wasn't as nice as yours.
Congrats on 3rd place, thats seriously some good work, impressive no doubt.

If not for the super-bogus phone number I gave, I wonder if he would have called me... you know, just to chat and stuff. :wink: It's nice to know he's nicer over the phone (or in real life), because I'm sure he is. I am not all that great with one of my classes, but I still get along great with the teacher. Just because I'm not good at one thing doesn't mean I'm a bad guy. Same for Sean, probably.
