Great to see True Lies, one of the best action movies ever, there.

I think I've had enough Children of Men constant love for one lifetime.
Nice to see Eternal Sunshine on there, though obviously too low...

Agree. It would get boring to always see the same titles. And so far only 2 of his top 100 are in my top 100.

I started getting worried when I saw that Magnus gave Blades of Glory a higher grade than Zodiac.
Anyway, good calls on CoM (though it is far too low ), Eternal Sunshine, Graffiti, GoldenEye, and Nightmare. Not all of them would make it on my list, but they're all good flicks.

YES YOU MUST!
COMMMEEEEEENNNT!!!!
Nightmare Before Christmas is by far my favorite Burton movie (and is, in fact, in my top 11). Outside of this and Edward Scissorhands, all his other movies I can take em or leave em.

Good list so far Magnus. Some good ones in your lower quarter so far so good stuff. Reminds me I need to see Wall Street. Good to see Goldeneye their but i wouldnt rank it as my favourite Bond.

Just "at times?"
The movie has all the subtlety of a blunt object to the back of the head.
It's an after school special for adults.
Saved by one of the best scores ever. (though I still hate the movie)

I agree. The score is a triumph.

I don't even remember the score, and I just watched it for the first time this month. Well, March.

It's not so much that I don't "remember it" as it is I don't even remember liking it or not. Like, I don't even remember it registering (except maybe during the montages. Maybe.)

A great film indeed.

Wow, you're really powering through this...
Minority's a modern classic, Fugitive is great, so is President's Men, X2 is second best comic book movie (to you-know-what). Prestige is far too low, and Rush Hour is sorta meh.

I hope der meineidbauer (1940) will not be on this list. I strongly dislike it.
