It is shocking that Graham is Jack's brother. I am real curious to see why he took such a different path. I also don't think he was pulling the strings last season. So either Jack's father is bad or some other character in this season is behind him.

I don't think bABA likes Graham's wife being Jack's ex-lover/the "You still haven't gotten over Jack!" line. To be frank I didn't either. I'm fine with an evil Jack's brother, the wife triangle is a bit much.

Its very soap operaish.
Jack is important to us cause his is the story we follow. To say hes the most important and dangerous man in America is well, in my opinion, slightly foolish. But I just don't like the coincidence that the man who is responsible for season 5, maybe season 6 and possibly, season 2 is Jack's own family, our main protoganist and on top of that, hes had an affair with his wife at the same time.
I just ... don't like it.

I wonder if it goes back even further. Did Graham know Nina was the mole? A little Mandy action? We never did find out who Nina was representing in season 3 (or how she got out of Africa). Right? I haven't seen it in awhile so I might be wrong.

Last night was a slow episode where just a lot of traveling took place but little action. Next week's episode appears to be very action packed.

I feel this is a pretty slow episode by 24's standard. I didn't feel as much tension, and not much happened or developed this hour. The whole family thing is kind of weird. I guess they want to create new kind of conflicts.

That is a mystery. At the time most 24 fans thought it had to be Max and that he was going to return that season. He never came back and then a few years later the 24 game came out. The game dealt with in between season 2 and 3. Max was the main bad guy and he was killed at the end of the game, although it was murky since the game ended when you stopped Max, there was no final movie telling you what happened (which was my biggest problem with that game). I suppose they could ignore the game completely, if not then who was Nina working for? My opinion has always been that Max was just a member of that organization and that he answered to someone above him. Nina still worked for that organization and was buying the Virus for it. The question is have they played any other role since that? And I really don't know if Hendersen and Graham are connected to them then we haven't seen the last of them.

And I had the same problems with the development that baba and loyal mentioned.

A nuclear bomb just blew up an hour ago! Of course the episode will seem slow by 24's standards.
I would assume Jack had a bigger, better reason for attacking his brother. Call me naive, but I don't think the 24 writers are that sloppy, especially Joel Surnow and Michael Loceff (the guys who wrote the episode).

I thought this was one of the more interesting, fresher episodes of 24 in a while.

I loved the episode. First Lennox is now the biggest creep on the show. He is horrible. I loved the end with Graem that was a great twist.

So far Im a little unimpressed after how good last season was. For one thing, there are a lot of annoying characters this time.
Palmer's Sister if she said the same thing every episod I would have shot myself, thank God that guy got beat up, though She'll throw another shitstorm.
Chloe's ex is painfully unfunny, and I miss Audrey, and of course Curtis, and the secret service man from last year. I wouldnt doubt that they gave her her dad's job since he's dead.
I feel it will begin to pick up now, Im feel confident.

I haven't been too much of a fan of the last 2 episodes, they're below the 4 hour premeire by a large margin IMO. Next week I go back to watching Heroes live and taping 24.

I am not quite satisfied with how it's going. Karen should've said to president that Tom is blackmailing her, and FBI is utterly incompetent in that 'camp'.

I also found that Regina King/FBI storyline a bit too coincidental, it seemed a bit for the benefit of tv world drama that the muslims would start attacking him at the direct moment Regina and co. are walking into the base. Not to mention the beatdown itself was a bit... much. It was a quite brutish reaction, everyone in the camp stomping him. Also the guards both a) Should've gotten him away as soon as they got the call, when Chloe got the browser... walkie talkie, should've taken no time at all. and b) Been paying more attention, so they could stop the beatdown immediatley? I think Walee should've been beaten up and taken back by the FBI, THEN they find the browser and Regina goes nutso... that would've made more sense at least.

Yeah, season 6 has been a little bit plodding so far. I think it has a lot to do with everyone at CTU acting like a random stock character (even Chloe), the fact that the whole presidential storyline is far less interesting than last season's (even at this point in this season last year), and the massive underutilization of Regina King. Aside from missing Logan and FLOTUS Martha a ton, I also miss Audrey (although that might just be me).
On the other hand, we all know something huge will happen soon to change that.

I really liked the last two episodes, I guess it is because I want to know more about Jack's family life.

Although I don't know what you're talking about directly, that's what I've been assuming for the past two episodes.
My biggest complaint is too many characters. They need to wipe out a few.

Yeah... too many characters and most of them, I do not care for.
Though I still hold hope for Farmer Hoggett and Regina King.
Anyone notice Regina King's storyline is reminiscent of the Warners in Day Two? Mainly because they're on their own little plot/location and have not interacted with any other main character.

Wow, just as I called the season "plodding" last week, a scene like Graem's interrogation/confession comes along. That was 24 at its best.
