considering the threadstarter wears his Spideyman jockstrap around his head and was the one who also thought that Justin Long was in the running for Robin because of the news he posted, I would take the news with a grain of salt

Holy SHIT, this is getting insane. Best cast ever.
I'll wait for this to be confirmed, but I'd love for SMG to have a worthwhile movie role.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer as Harley Quinn? Hey who knows it could work. I doubt she will get that big of a role.

Getluv, don't hate me, but personally I think this takes the cast down a notch.

She might work as Quinn, though I rather save Quinn for the sequel.

If anything she was probably up for the role of Dawes and this is just dead now.

A much better casting tidbit is that Emily Blunt is supposed to appear in the film as a villain! How fucking cool is that? My God, this is going to be one fantastic cast! They just need to lose Gellar and pick another cool, unique choice, like they did with Ledger, Gyllenhaal, and now Blunt. Of course, Blunt could be playing Harley, which would be awesome. Sarah would drag down a mostly kickass cast. I don't hate her, but would really rather have Blunt in the role and would prefer to see Sarah in some other movie instead.
The cast for this keeps getting better and better though, save for Sarah Michelle Gellar. Who will be added next, Lauren Graham? Now that would make this an opening-night MUST SEE for me.

That's so shitty! News sites shouldn't play April Fool's jokes, especially when they're not funny. This isn't funny. If they were going to they should have done something like announcing a sequel to some movie people wouldn't want a sequel to, like maybe a DTV sequel to Fight Club.
What BS! This pisses me off.

Actually that would probably be more entertaining than everything she's ever been in.

No, I could only watch about 20 episodes of that show (from various seasons, yes including the musical) before I just couldn't stand how snarky and singularly voiced it was.
As for Gellar, she's cute, and seems like a decently nice person, but I strain to see anything that she's ever done which I found her to be entertaining in. There's a lot of actors whom I can understand followings for (even if I don't share that view) but I don't understand the vast amounts of love given to Gellar.
I guess when I see Gellar, she's one of those people that is always Sarah Michelle Gellar, she never has the ability to disappear into a role.
Aside from that (if this news was true, as it was posted here before April Fools) Gellar would be a horrible, horrible choice for Harley Quinn. They would need someone younger, spunky, and more sexual than Gellar.

You had this coming.
"I could only watch 20 episodes". WHAT A FUCKING CLOSET CASE. YOU FUCKING LOVED IT. YOU WANTED TO HAVE BABIES WITH IT. If you found it to be those things, you wouldn't have made it past your first episode. Who are you honestly fooling here.? You are like one of the smartest posters on KJ and then you dish the shit out. I'm a film/tv snob as much as the next person, but what the fuck are you? This is something Jeff would throw out. So Gellar isn't good enough for you, well like that matters because she has much more range in her acting than some people. CRUEL INTENTIONS and BUFFY clearly showcased this. I'm sorry your sheer dislike for her is clouding your judgment.

After Buffy we'd then watch cinema from around the world (sometimes we watched Ali G show too). I've seen all (I think?) of Firefly too and think that 80% of it isn't very good. I've never seen any of the Angel show except one episode. Quote: So Gellar isn't good enough for you, well like that matters because she has much more range in her acting than some people. Sheer dislike for her isn't the right terms, I mean. It's not like I wish her to fall off, and if it is any consolation, she's 10x the actor that her husband is. But she's just... kind of plain and ... blah.

How much respect do you think I have for you when you put "blah" into your argument. I'm thoroughly disappointed andaroo. I no longer like you.

Actually "blah" is probably the world which fits her both. Maybe "meh" is better.
