On New Year's Eve I caught Ciara lip-synching on at The West Cost Celebrations hosted by Ashlee Simpson on ABC I believe. She was singing One, Two Step and you could totally tell she was lip-synching.

I forgot how Britney Spears was caught lip-synching does anyone remember?

Almost every damn performance she lip synchs, so it could've basically been anything.

Her little ear piece microphone thing fell off as she was gyrating her hips back and forth at some performance. Doesn't really matter though, she's a dancer and entertainer, not a singer.

Ashlee Simpson on the other hand... people like Ashlee should be able to sing, since she doesn't really have anything else going for her.

Well, she writes almost all of her own material unlike Britney, and that's good enough for me. :wink:

Ashlee Simpson isn't a lip-syncher! The SNL incident was one technical mess. All of Ashlee Simpson's songs are original, yet Britney Spears songs are not even 1% original. Don't forget to check Hilary Duff.

Just listen to Ashlee's live performance at the pre-show at the VMA's last August. She sucked, horribly. I really like Ashlee, but she just cannot sing live.

Ok...well she shoud lip-sync because she sounds like cat being run over by a fire truck when she does sing.

She can't sing. You can tell that from other live performances shes given, and even on her show when she is in the studio, She cant sing...

On the Ashlee Simpson Show on MTV it shows her going to the doctor and getting diagonosed with a severe case of acid reflux.

Then why would a record company invest in someone who's been diagnosed with severe acid reflux? :?

Shut up Bill! You are always attacking Ashlee Simpson, and Lindsay Lohan. At least they can sell albums unlike Mariah's last flop Charm Braclet, and their films aren't flops like Glitter. Why don't you take a long hard look at your idol for once.

Ashlee is too young for acid reflux. I'd be interested to see how the doctor diagnosed her. Usually acid reflux is diagnosed by process of elimination. Did she have an endoscopy?

Even if she did have it, all she needs is 30 mg/day Prevacid and she would heal in 3 months at most.

Charmbraclet flopped? LOL....could have fooled me. I like people with talent vince. Everyone would agree that ashlee can't sing worth shit. It and opinion, and yet again you have to jump down our throats for not being obsessed with no talent, little girls who bank of their sisters success.

i dont mind ashlee or hilary but i do mind them when they sing live. I've seen ashlee lype sync more than one time.

Britney on the other hand - She can either sound great live, or horrible.
I've seen many performances that were great and many that were bad. Everyone has their bad performances. I say if they want to Lype-sync they should be able to without getting crap for it.
that goes for hilary,lindsey,ciara, britney, jessica, and everyone else i have seen do it before.

Mariah careay can actually sing, but lately her albums suck, she seems more concerend with walking otuside naked them making good music.

Lindsay Lohan, Britney Spears, Ashlee Simpson and Hillary Duff are all crap.

Every decade has crappy pop, no one is goign to look back at the horrible ablum that is Speak and call it great music. Rumers is a pretentious insulting song, I think LL can act but if she keeps releasing such songs you can kiss me wanting to see her anything goodbye.

I basically agree with every single point made in your post. Mariah has a good voice, a really good one, but she recently seems to have forgotten how to use it judging by her picks of songs :?
