Great episodes last night! I was shocked that Curtis was killed. This show keeps managing to top itself each season.

Holy shit, the most shocking 10 minutes ever. The body count continues to rise, and Jack's reaction after he killed Curtis, heartbreaking.

Day Three has the hotel and the San Gabriel (?) Island thing right?
I kind of tried to block that season (the Milliken storyline, haha).

Day one had at least 200, don't forget Mandy blowing up the plane in hour one.

Gotcha!

If they want to get people to care, they have to blow up somewhere other than California. I also would have appreciated if the sets had been cooler, other than cheapo warehouse/hangar locations. I liked Morris for some reason, he was entertaining to watch.

I have now realized that most of the posters at the pifeedback forum (except for JHoney, we all know who that is here. Hehe.) are utter tools when it comes to 24.

Watched it finally this afternoon.
Poor Curtis.
And poor the probably hundreds of thousands of people killed by that nuclear device.

[spoil]Cy Tolliver has no heart or soul. He'll make a great VP.[/spoil]
And, completely incredible episodes again. I unfortunately didn't get to watch the episodes until last night, so I avoided the forum entirely.
Loyal, I wasn't right about what was going to happen. I figured Jack was different, but not the way he is now. I figured he may have been working with the Chinese. I'm actually glad that's not the case, as everything that has happened in 20 months and especially these four hours has made Jack an almost entirely different character. If Patrick Dempsey or some other panzy wins the Emmy next year over Kiefer, I'm boycotting all awards shows. He has really stepped it up, especially Hour Four (for obvious reasons).

don't rule out what you're saying. they've hinted for some reason that hour 6 and 7 will involve Jack having to defend himself and his family.

They have really pushed the limits of what they can show on primetime TV. Biting a guy's neck, blood spurting out of the gunshot wound on Curtis, the torture scene in the premiere. Maybe it's just me, but they definitely showing as much as they possibly can.

I'm my dream CTU world, China and Russia would attack the US.
I don't know when, but I'm guessing you're right. The Chinese may come back into play at some point.
Now I can go back and check what the spoiler tags say from last week, when I didn't know what was going to happen. My guess is that none of you talked about the episodes, and you all just said how cute I am.

I'd be disappointed if all we heard from the Chinese was that Jack was released from one of their prisons after spending 20 months there.
I think it would be really interesting/awesome if the Bear and the Dragon teamed up.

I don't even know how any other show can be considered in the same league as 24. Every other show on TV is in the little leagues.
Grey's Anatomy is the Special Olympics. Screw them for beating 24 at the Globes. We don't need them or their meaningless awards.

It's odd how in it's victory it created more drama picked up by the media than anything that show has done this year.

It's the only Clancy novel I've read, I stopped 3/4 the way through Executive Orders.
Jack Bauer reminds me a lot of Mitch Rapp, from the Vince Flynn books more so than any Clancy character. I think at one time Flynn worked as a consultant for 24.

So, [spoil]at least one of the four bombs will have to go off on the show. Any guesses where? I know DC has been talked about. Anyone think of a prominent character or two will perish in the blast? They only killed off a few baddies (and 100,000 others) in this blast. The next one will have to have bigger stakes.[/spoil]

Jack's new name last season was Frank Flynn, after he went into hiding. Maybe a connection with Flynn? A coincidence, perhaps?

I Am Jack's... wrote: Has anyone heard this story? http://www.contactmusic.com/news.nsf/ar ... pe_1018941KIEFER SUTHERLAND only has himself to blame for the delay of his 24 action figure - he set fire to the prototype during a drunken night out. The action man's new figure has been developed by MCFarlane Toys and will hit stores later this year (07), but the mini-JACK BAUER should have hit shelves much earlier. Sutherland explains, "They tried to come out with one a couple of years ago and they had sent me the doll for my approval... We took the doll out for a night to have some fun and we'd had some drinks. We sat it on the corner of the table. "We started torturing him around 11 o'clock at night, and, by two o'clock in the morning, we had set him on fire in the parking lot. "We got up the next day and there was just this puddle of wax. His clothes didn't burn, which I thought was pretty cool... and then I got a call the next day saying, 'Did you like the doll?' I said, 'Yeah, it was great.' And they said, 'Well, OK, good, you gotta send it back to us because that was the prototype... It took that guy a year to make it.' "I said, 'Well, let me look for it, I think I left it in the trailer.' This went on for about a week and then I had to just kinda come clean."
Sounds like an episode of "Frasier".

That's just wrong. Two men should never do that. It's completely against what anyone with an ounce of good morals would do.
Beating each other up is WRONG.
