That number is the result of frontpage placement - although it was doing well before it showed up there.

It's hard to be sure, but I read them as legitimate reviews from people that were unhappy with the film and/or the marketing of it. Usually the completely fake reviews say things like, "This film blows - save your money." These are more thought out, which is more consistent with users who have actually seen the film. The overall grade is very good.
If that is true that could hurt it, although more so with its legs.

I am going to watch the grade for Ghost Rider that could tells us what the WOM might be like. If it can stay in the B range it might be looked as a good popcorn flick.

Ghost Rider 68 (364), +10 (+62), B+
Bridge To Terabithia 18 (160), +1 (+24), B+
Breach 4 (46), +0 (+9), B
Daddy's Little Girls 715 reviews, 106 Friday
Music & Lyrics 712 reviews, 97 Friday
Despite the fanbase, the low written to overall ratio for Bridge suggests it will have a low ratio.

I don't think Terabithia has much of a fanbase. It has a following maybe.

Yeah, "following" is better terminology. Thanks, Jedi.

No crowd report on HSX talk either so I doubt it will be around 40 million weekend either. Probably under 30 million I think likely in in the 25-28 million range

12 x 2.5 would make it 30 million. It will most likely be frontloaded given the nature of its genre. Saturday's number should be below friday though. Since I havent heard of a comicbook movie that opened on a friday whos saturday is larger

since I have the flu and can't get out of bed, I decided to look for sellouts.. In the NY area, GR has sold out showings between the hours of 7 and 8 pm at these cinemas...
Concourse
Linden Boulavard
Whitestone
Sunrise
Cross Country
not bad for so early in the night...

I have doubts that it will fall on Saturday... I don't think there were a massive amount of midnight showings for this one to artificially inflate the Friday numbers, like many of the big comicbook films do have...

So a $40m 4 day looksfairly likely. Remember Sunday will act almost like a Saturday! Great! Anything above $38m would be good for GR.

Yup but it's also bad. I'm expecting the same number for Saturday as Friday.
Also Sunday will drop a bit more than that, as will Monday.
12 would probably be around $37.
12 + 12 + 8.5 + 4.25 = 36.75

Saturday being the same as Friday, that I agree with...
But a large fall like that on Sunday.. I dunno... it's a holiday weekend, it should drop as harshly on Sunday..
