fungulo is wrong...but I know what you meant to say...and you forgot the "va" since its actually a self-reflexive verb when you're telling it to someone.
Thats some great Italian skills there.

Next year I will take French, Latin, or German. Any suggestions?

NOT French. No, just no. If I could change anything during my whole time in school then that'd be the decision to pick French over Latin over 6 years ago.
As for the others...
it depends on what you are going for, later in your life. German will most likely be easier to learn. Latin is a language that you will NEVER really learn to speak. You will read texts and you will translate them. You will rarely ever translate from English into Latin, but always from Latin into English. Of course it is prestigious to know a language like Latin, but it really depends on what you want. German is of course a more "worldly" language that you will use on many occasions in your life whereas Latin is rather limited in that perspective.
Once again, NO FRENCH.

I agree with Dr. L pretty much. French is yucky. Latin really is a dead language. They don't say that for fun Unless you plan on getting into medicine, it really is useless. It's fun, but if you want to be practical and learn and language that might help you, learn German.

Here are some languages I'd like to take up and learn:
Spanish (with the quickly growing Hispanic population in the US)
German
Mandarin Chinese
Russian
Latin
A Scandinavian language
Can you imagine how good Latin and Mandarin Chinese would look on a resume?

I'd rather go for Japanese. Very repsected, especially in the business world. I am planning on learning Japanese once I get out of school.

I know the basics in Japanese, very interesting language, Hopefully I could master it. I am learning myself so it takes a little longer but I can go on my own pace, which I love.

True, but China is becoming a powerful economic force in the world today. At the rate their economy is growing, we may all need to start learning Mandarin Chinese.

Gotta agree there. I find Japanese culture more intriguing, though.

Right, and probably Catonese too. Japanese would be an good language to learn too.
