Best episode of the series, maybe the best of any serialized drama i've ever watched.

Very good episode, so it looks like to me that Hiro's father, Eric Robert's character and I suspect Linderman are the three that are over Mr Bennet. Oh and the terrific Malcolm McDowell is playing Linderman that should be very cool.

Correct me if I'm Wrong but
Malcolm McDowell was the guy in Clockwork Oranger Correct? Or am I thinking of somebody else and if not that is so cool.

I missed the first 40 minutes, but the last 20 were easily the best Heroes has had to offer. One question though. The girl the painter and Peter were after who ended up getting shot, was she revealed to still be alive during the show tonight? If not, I really hate the NBC marketing for giving that part away during the previews for the next couple of weeks.

Wow, incredible. Heroes has evolved from a simple genetic story of how some people are meant to be 'more', into something so much more, a complex and weaving tale that ranks among the best tv has to offer currently. I love it. This was probably their best episode ever.

Heroes really should focus on just one storyline more often. A few posts ago I mentioned how often times it feels like arcs occured over several episodes and resulted in some episodes being excellent, some quite weak. If the show stuck to more episodes like this it would go from a damn fun show to something really special. I will say, the show has been getting better and better as it goes on. I bet the second season ratings will start off huge.
Yeah, this was the best episode so far.

Yeah, they need to do this one story arch episode deal a little more often (not frequently though, that wouldnt work)
The last two episodes have been fantastic.
And jeez, i've seen too much of Eric Roberts for one day, watched A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints today and he pops up at the end then he shows up on Heroes, what the hell is going on?

Glad to see I wasn't alone when watching this yesterday. I thought this was easily the best episode of the series to date.
The unfortunate thing about focusing on just two or three main title characters is that, much like "Lost", you're eventually going to focus on characters that cannot carry an episode on their own. That's why I would be extra cautious about doing this again with different characters.
But, that's the future of the show. For now, last night was definite A+. I think this one clinched it for me, that Heroes is definitely my favorite show on TV right now.

Wow coming from a 24 fan this show is great. True I do watch 24 when Heroes is on but I do record heroes in the other room and watch Heroes after 24 is over. This episode was great probally the best episode of the season so far, And I guess from here it can only get better.

What's the Emmy potential for this show? Could it win Best Drama over early frontrunner Grey's Anatomy? Any acting nods in the cards for it? Maybe the Emmys will be stupid and ignore it in big categories (although I can't see why).
Who are the acting frontrunners for getting nominated?

Finally watched Monday's episode online. Easily the best of the series so far. I like how they really, really focused on the Bennets by not having any other characters really show up (other than Matt and the radioactive guy, etc.)
Hayden Panettiere is an amazing actress for a teenager. Jack Coleman is also deserving of an Emmy nom.

I doubt it wins best Drama. Unfortunetly Grey's Anatomy has that in the bag. I think 24 will get nominated but it won last year. I think Heroes is also too comic book for academy voters.

I'm actually predicting a Heroes nomination (the win, I think, will probably go to Grey's though).

Sopranos has best drama locked this year.

See, I thought that last year, before the sixth season started last March. But now that the first 12 episodes aired (which honestly were good, but nowhere near the quality of the other seasons), I doubt it's getting the win, even with these 8 or 9 episodes being the last episodes. It will have to be drastically better than those first 12 episodes.
I see why you would think that, though, but the Emmys aren't prone to giving awards for final seasons, just because they were much-loved in their heyday. The West Wing, a four-time Best Drama winner, didn't get the final season Emmy for Best Drama. Friends didn't even get nominated. Frasier didn't win it. Will & Grace didn't. These shows are all as big as The Sopranos. Plus, The Sopranos has aired two seasons in like five years. Those long breaks have really killed the momentum it used to have.

I didn't even know The Sopranos was still on anymore. Thought it ended sometime in the last couple years.

I haven't heard any "buzz" or chatter regarding the actors on Heroes as far as Emmy goes, but if anything, it will be like Lost and get a Supporting nomination.
