Cool episode, too bad Locke blew up the satalite station. We did learn a few things mainly that the Others overran the Dharma scientists.

This was probably the best episode of the season for me. Naveen Andrews was the best he's ever been, and the comedy of the beach was a nice escape from the drama unfolding elsewhere.

Great episode. Quite a few answers were given (OMFG!) and a few more were raised. Naveen Andrews continues to show why he is one of the best actors on the show and I hope that this episode is the beginning of a lot more Sayid screen-time this season. Last season his screen-time was a bit lacking, to say the least.
Locke has been making a lot of mistakes since last season, hasn't he?
Is Mikhail going to get owned by the alarm system next week? Hmmm..

Good epsiode... seemed to focus more on the centrality of the show - the survivors of the plane crash and their efforts to get off the island.
Locke being distracted by the chess game while guarding a possible killer .... Locke's intelligence is questionable

Am I the only one who thinks Lost has been absolutely phenomenal since the return? IMO they're getting back to what made it originally so great, the characters and people themselves... They have a renewed sense of focus, and some wit and humor to go back with the show too. Somehow this is once again my favorite show on tv.
I only wish the eye-patch guy was more deep and layered than what he is, a crazy russian who wants to die for his cause.
That Dharma korean is just so awesome, I still get chills every time he gives one of his messages. If they gave Emmy nominations to minute roles, I'd so back him. Dharma itself has practically disappeared this season(as I expected), though I expect they'll explore it a bit more as the series goes on. S2 and the hatch was the big time period for it though.

Agreed. It has been much, much better. My biggest problem was the Hurley episode, which I thought was a great episode.
Why if it was great did I not like it? Because the show had been spinning tires for so long, that no matter how great a side story is that doesn't advance the plot, you can't help getting annoyed.

So, entering 77 was like a suicide bomb, or what?
Very good episode. This stuff I like. It's the Others and Jack that I'm not into anymore. Two episodes without 'em, and I feel like Lost is back to what it used to be: great.
I wonder if Locke making so many mistakes will eventually be discussed on the show. For a smart guy, he does do things that are beyond questionable.

I hope that the next time we see the Others and Jack, it'll be with him walking around living half-domesticated in their community. It's just the brutish and cages thing that bugged me about that storyline. I think the little community, with Lost's renewed sense of quality, could be very interesting.

Apparently that's what happens and we see it next week.
I took think Lost has been pretty fantastic since the season fold, minus the Jack episode which I found interesting but awkward. I really enjoyed the Hurley episode, despite the comment above that it "didn't move the plot forward", it actually moved the characters of Hurley, Charlie and Sawyer a bit forward. Plus it was just well written and funny. Sawyer also found that map which made me scream at my TV because I'm sure Sayid would have liked to have seen it! Hopefully it comes back.
Looking back, I personally thought the first 6 episodes were okay and will hold up when you can watch them in a row and straight into the second half of the seaon, especially "Further Instructions", "A Tale of Two Cities" and "Every Man for Himself". Mostly because I think Juliet is pretty bad-ass, and Sawyer and Locke are awesome and the acting this year from everybody but Matt Fox has been excellent (especially Josh Holloway).
I thought "Enter 77" was a pretty important episode. It gives some insight into why The Others are so hostile towards everybody else who lands on the islands.

I haven't watched any of the shows this year, but I'm going to go out on a limb and say that each tribe is still capturing members from the other tribe and that the sexual tension between Kate and Sawyer is reaching a boiling point. I'm further guessing that the castaways are finding out things, but failing to share that info with their friends. Lastly, I'm guessing they ocassionally form a group to go deep in the forrest to investigate something.
How'd I do?

Mostly right, except The Others haven't catched anyone else yet, neither has the castaways seen any other Others, and Sawyer and Kate have sexxed though they're not a couple. And they are indeed wandering around Monster-infested woods in small groups.

Oh wow, Nikki and Paulo actually get an episode/any screentime at all. Up to this point they've been practically the worst cast additions ever, like 3 lines this entire season? What was the point, especially considering the fact that they dropped perfectly able castaways like Bernard and Rose.

I think they need to shave Paulo, give him tatooed eyebrows, bronze him even more, make him 8 foot-tall, dress him in crazy piercings, and ask muscular men to bow down to him.

Apparently, the producers claim that after their flashback episode, they will become iconic Lost characters.

Silly you. I wanted to see it so bad but I have never EVER had so much schoolwork concentrated in two weeks time. I'm really barely breathing. No Lost, Betty, or Grey for me this week!

Sounds interesting. It better be big because they have done nothing since being introduced.

Maybe it will turn out Nikki and Paulo are Other double agents and are attempting to kill all of the castaways, or something totally random and unlikely like that.

No, they were just dropped in to the show as if they'd been there from the beginning, w3ith absolutely no explanation.
