I don't really talk to anyone. I have a few people from here on my MSN list, but I'm rarely on MSN anymore, and when I am on, they are never on. I used to chat sort of regularly with AgentX, in regards to TV shows and such. I miss chatting with him.
PEACE, Mike.

An interesting old thread this.
Outside of KJ i'd say i chat to batnanna (infrequently since she has obtained a life of late) Arsi (who's IM pass times include whipping up interesting youtube links and melting my brain with hypothetical scenario's on a variety of subjects) and Finwe (a BOF poster don't think he's ever been over her). I've chatted to Magnus the odd time as well and even had Kypade offering sage counsil on a subject lately.
The whole IM think is very exhausting thou, i'd hate to be doing it all the time, lots to be said for the chance to think before posting.

God people still use MySpace?
I browsed through one of my friend's, and I find the whole layout and design of the site so awkward and unsophisticated, it seems like a website that would be entirely made up of middle schoolers.

I find that not talking to anyone outside of WOKJ maintains my mysteriously cool air of mystery.

Yeah, on the forum, this thread is about who you talk to outside of KJ.
Let's see. I talk to da torri mostly, Karl and bABA for site-related things (or the occasional random IM from bABA telling me to watch a YouTube video), and every so often, Jeff and BTTF. I used to talk to other people, but not recently.

That would be Bebo.

I think I mentioned this in this thread, but maybe not...
the answer is, no one regularly, baba/loyal/eagle/zingaling/other miscellaneous posters when I need help or something. I'm such a mooch. (That's probably not the right word, but I can't think of a better one...no, i don't only IM them for drugs and food...though yknow what, I probably should...)

You talk about myspace as if its a fading phenomenon.
It's part of a social evolution. Like SMS messaging, Myspace is an easy way for a digital savvy generation to keep in touch. But i'll admit im a little weirded out when people say "Oh yeah, i know you, I've saw your myspace!"
The worst designed websites always become the most successful websites. Myspace is, by no means, a design masterpiece, but it's easy. Bebo and Facebook have too much national division to become Myspace competitors. Myspace crosses borders.

the only network i've ever been a part of has been Orkut, mainly due to the fact that it concentrated less on providing you with blogging space and more so to create a network that will allow you to get back in touch with people you may have only associated with years ago. While i personally hate ORKUT for the same reason as I hate all networking sites (i don't blog and i certainly don't like leaving scraps for people, an orkut term), it was the only single useful site I ever found in the networking area. Plus most brown and spanish people seem to love it. And google offers it.
But stuff like myspace, along with SMSing ... 2 concepts i just can't get the hang off.

The whole SMS thing is rather alien to me as well, i'd struggle to go thru 5 euro in the month when it comes to SMS. I know some people that spend 30 euro a week on it and type faster on the phone then i do on a keyboard

as much as i hate talking on the phone, i'd rather make a 20 second call and sort out the matter. i only use smsing when i'm in an area where i won't be able to hear things or if it'll cost me too much to call.

Magnus and Gulli are the most fun to talk to outside of the forum. It seems bABA must IM everyone with youtube video links. I've actually talked to excel a few times on AIM lately. That's not recommended. I think I've got about 30 people on AIM from BOF and KJ, mostly from BOF though. Then I've got a few others on MSN, which I am not on very often. I don't feel like naming everyone. I don't talk to most of them that often anyway.
