Can't wait.

But, please, not Little Miss Sunshine for Best Picture. Not over Letters from Iwo Jima, The Departed, and Babel, all masterful.

What a race, great year! I'm glad whoever wins, except Babel! If the guitar man gets another one, I'm done with the AMPAS forever.
What's your 3 wishes for the night? Mine are: U93 for editing, LMS or Letters for BP and Pan's for score!

In order of importance, I would love to see...

- Scorsese win for best director
- Children of Men win for Cinematography
- Pan's Labyrinth win for Original Score

I'm curious as to how Ellen will do as host, though pretty much anyone would be better than John Stewart last year. Hoping to see some shake-ups in the acting categories and also looking forward to the lovely ladies on the red carpet :shades: .

My 3 Wishes (wins I hope happen):

1. The Departed for Best Picture and Best Director.
2. Emmanuel Lubezki, Children of Men for Best Cinematography
3. Jennifer Hudson, Dreamgirls for Best Supporting Actress

My 3 "No Guts, No Glory" Predictions:

1. "Our Town" from Cars wins Best Original Song
2. The Departed sweeps (wins all 5 of it's nominations).
3. Both Babel and Letters from Iwo Jima win NOTHING.

Peace,
Mike.

Red carpet coverage:

Rinko Kikuchi is actually dressed semi-normally for the Oscars.

Emily Blunt is there! Is she presenting something?

Eggaaddd Jennifer Hudson's dress is bizarre, it's like a normal dress but it has weird-ass shoulder things on it.

According to OW, she and Anne Hathaway are presenting Costumes together, which is odd considering Prada is nominated. That's like having Sacha Baron Cohen present Adapted Screenplay.
