Go figure.

1. Little Miss Sunshine
2. The Departed
3. The Good Shepherd
4. Casino Royale
5. Superman Returns
6. Stranger than Fiction
7. United 93
8. The Proposition

I don't like where this is going. I already have 9 A+'s. I need to start watching some bad movies - well I rented Lady in the Water tonight and I still have the other two movies, so it might swing the other way.

Surprised with that one.

It was a year of great action films (Casino, Mission and actually X3 would have made the top 20). In fact, I have more action films in my list this year than art or foreign films (which I mostly found disappointing).

See, this would easily be on my list but Lecter SCREAMED at me to remove it in private chat one day because it was 2005.

Peer pressure

Kekexili is a fantastic film though.

It had its U.S. release in 2006, even though that was really brief. I saw it mentioned on some top 10 lists.

I can't even do a top ten and be fair. I have my top ten highest rated...but not "Top 10" films of the year. I've got three empty spots...ouch.

1. United 93
2. Babel
3. The Departed

And then after that it's a little muddy. But...

4. The Pursuit of Happyness
5. Manderlay

That's all for now. Either of those could be replaced by Borat, maybe.

Still can't make a top 10, though.
