Interesting enough, the one other place where DiCaprio was stuck in Supporting Actor as well was the Satellites, and he WON it there. Murphy wasn't nominated, he is nominated and is winning in other places, and will be one of the frontrunners for the Academy award after tonight. By no means is Leo a sure thing for Supporting Award at SAG.
That's why I said "pretty much" a sure thing. My point about the Satellite win was to point out to you that as soon as DiCaprio is moved to the Supporting Actor category, he gains a significant advantage. Murphy is not the only Supporting Actor out there, DiCaprio didn't have to win it.
Furthermore, DiCaprio was double nominated at the SAGS for both Lead Actor and Supporting Actor, showing how the SAGS admire him this year. I think it pushes further strength into it. Leo also has no fellow The Departed actors in the category to split votes with.
Peace,
Mike.

Um...No.
They haven't lead up to that all, the entire point of the series is that Betty is happy as she is.

DiCaprio is double nominated tonight, and is not (probably) going to win. Cheers. We'll talk again if he does.
Your logic isn't incorrect MikeQ, you just seem to be awfully sure of yourself when the performance isn't necessarily pulling its weight in the awards season.

Okay, "pretty much a guaranteed win" vs. "pretty much a sure thing". If you want to play with semantics, be my guest.
DiCaprio was double nominated in the SAME CATEGORY tonight. At the SAGS, he has a nomination in Lead and a nomination in Supporting. A completely different story.
Peace,
Mike.
