someone should .. like ... go up on stage pull the mike down and fart into it.

now thats good tele.

I always have these shows on in the background while I browse the internet and play games. Maybe they should show them Tivo style -- lots of fast forwarding to the good parts. The whole thing could take 15 minutes.

Babel could go home with nothing now!

I dunno. They could be saving up everything for a Babel BP win. The Globes are crazy like that.

Although I suppose it's a foregone conclusion that Dreamgirls wins, and with two acting wins kind of proves it's strength going into the final stretch.

Will Dreamgirls win Ensemble at SAG? HMMMMMMMMMMMM....

whatever shuts Departed out tonight works for me.

Ick, ick, ick.

/constance zimmer.

Even Babel loyal? Or Bobby?

It's tough. But an enemy of my enemy is my friend.

It's Departed vs Dreamgirls for the BP Oscar not Babel. Departed losing to Babel only helps Dreamgirls.

You suck.

The Departed > Dreamgirls.

:-)

Ugly Betty deserves that win.

It is perhaps the most adorable television show of the last 15 or 20 years.

Well if The Departed loses tonight to The Queen or Babel, I may have to rethink joining your Dreamgirls club. I just want to put that on the record.

I actually think that if Leo is weak and so is Jack and the other actors that Dreamgirls could coast on it's two frontrunning future Supp. Actor noms all the way into a big ensemble at the SAG. Sure it won't win at DGA (Scorsese is still winning his Oscar) but hmmm...

Yeah... The scary thing is that you may be right.

Eddie Murphy will have a little momentum stopper however, because DiCaprio is in the Supporting Actor category at the SAGS, which is pretty much a guaranteed win. There's only Hudson who looks locked for the win at the SAGS now.

Peace,
Mike.

I would say it was guaranteed if Mr. Leo was winning some awards but it hasn't happened. Murphy has more momentum than Leo's nomination. I still say that Murphy takes it.
