God, The Queen so did not deserve any of those awards.
Well, I guess the screenplay was decent. Seriously though WTF.

Well in fairness - the screenplay was probably The Departed's weakest point and it was still at a high level - but its weakest point.

I'd actually be thrilled. The only thing that would make me happier with the list of films presented is if Little Children won Drama BP.

Yeah, The Queen's screenplay was probably the best... but not my favorite... if that makes sense.

Golden Globes always going for the TV performances with a lot of buzz. That was a shoo-in for Alec Baldwin, pretty much.
I was almost certain they'd be going with Michael C. Hall for actor in a drama, though.

Because I was surfing another forum, saw that animated gif and thought it was fun so, in the truest sense of the internet spirit, I stole it to use here for a little while.

True, it could have used some tightening up.

Babel could go home with nothing now!
I'm so glad The Queen won, because if it wasn't The Queen, I was fearing Babel would take it. Thank freaking goodness.
Peace,
Mike.

I always have these shows on in the background while I browse the internet and play games. Maybe they should show them Tivo style -- lots of fast forwarding to the good parts. The whole thing could take 15 minutes.

I dunno. They could be saving up everything for a Babel BP win. The Globes are crazy like that.
Although I suppose it's a foregone conclusion that Dreamgirls wins, and with two acting wins kind of proves it's strength going into the final stretch.
Will Dreamgirls win Ensemble at SAG? HMMMMMMMMMMMM....
