Anywho, amazing increase for Happy Feet, doesnt look like it will hit 200 million, but Casino Royale looks like it can push to 160 million. congrats and said in another thread, Rocky Balboa is the first Sylvester Stallone film to pass 50 million in the United States in 12 years. What does it matter why ROCKY dropped?? The fact is is that it dropped because no one wanted to see ROCKY on Sunday and had better things to do.. That's a pretty simple answer without having to read so much into it..
Why are you interested in my posts these day BKB? It doesnt matter that it dropped, but looking numbers as much as I do, its an interesting change in performance than it has been showing, and I wanted to hear oppinions from someone else on here who knew something else, than "people didnt want to go see it" being said to be pure fact.

Even more amazing:
By the end of it's run, Rocky Balboa will be only the 2nd time in 22 YEARS
that a Stallone movie passed $65MM. The other being CLIFFHANGER.
If it could somehow last long enough to pass $84MM, it would be his highest grosser since Rocky 4 in Christmas of 1985(non-inflated). But that probably will not happen.

For Rocky to pass 84 mill, it would need ridiculous legs. I don't see it happening, but it should make it to 75 mill. That would be more than triple it's budget. If it can make 125 internationally, a 200 mill final tally would be very nice.

I think it should do well internationally, they decided to push all of the openings to February, and it looks like it could be a very soft time for international performers, so it might be able to capitalize

Plus Stallone is still somewehat viable overseas and with all the positive wOM from this film here, it should translate into doing well there. I think 200 mill total is possible.
