Identity has an awful host. Penn isn't it? Or is it teller, either way he's just the wrong guy. There's lots of likeable experienced standup comedians who would be better.

I watched Identity last night. It sucks in every way. Penn Jillette (I think that's his name) is a terrible host, the show is insanely predictable, and I HATE how they say yes. (Each one has a different way of saying it, fitting in with his/her identity, and it always comes after a long pause.)

If the point was not to judge a book by its cover, they failed miserably. The thing that annoys me is that for all we know, the people could be given yes/no signs off-camera, and they could be duping us. It's a horrendous effort, and I don't see it lasting too long if it's made into a network staple.

Identity will likely only last this week and then go off the air unless it improves tonight.

I was thinking it was the movie Identity and was like, "Man, that's been getting really good ratings. Must be because nothing else is on." :p I wasn't thinking that because it was bad, since it wasn't (loved it actually), but because usually movies that were in theaters and on DVD don't tend to do as well.
