I'd say the director thing is more of a travesty considering Flags is drastically overrated. DiCaprio actually was really good in both films.
Making an abitious project is more deserving of two nods then having two great performances, especially since one of the movies got pretty torn apart by critics.

And wow, Bobby DID get in for Best Pic. I remember Levy predicted that; nice job Levy.

Peace,
Mike.

Bobby's nom (whatever it is, you vague gits) is probably just to get the cast to come to the ceremony. Those globes love their celebrities.

Meh... Flags was so boring and Eastwood is so overrated. He would be nominated for anything and everything since Hollywood loves him.

Looks to me like Scorcese is destined to win the Globe for Best Director, with no competition from Condon (not even nominated) and Eastwood being shot in the foot with 2 nominations (split votes).

Peace,
Mike.

Beyonce Knowles nominated in any acting award is pretty sickening, it's almost as she got in by default with how awfully weak that category is.

Does 2 noms mean DiCaprio doesn't have a chance to win? Ditto for Eastwood.
