I like Piz and would rather have Veronica with him. He's cute.

Veronica hasn't even acknowledged that Piz exists outside of Wallace's roommate. There's no way they could pull off putting her with him.

Anyway, so much love for this episode. Lots of laughs, and the Big Lebowski homage! Rob Thomas wasn't even trying to pretend that he wasn't copying straight from the movie! I loved it! But poor Logan at the end. :(

I liked the bus crash mystery the first time around, so I'm hoping to like it as much (or more) the second time!

2006 finale on Tuesday. Can't wait!

Seven weeks, I believe. Four of those will be December, though, and there would be normally three weeks or repeats in there anyway.

Does anyone who has actually been watching The CW on other nights know if they've been advertising this episode much?

My friend tells me they have. But I've decided to not care about ratings for VM anymore. We have our third season, and even if we don't get a fourth, it's more than most shows would get.

Great episode tonight. I love how they closed one mystery and then started a new one, but no new episodes until at the earliest January.

Ok, they're all tricky with their fake rapes meaning that alibis are no good. Damn, I never would've guessed Mercer. Though I did guess Moe! So I was like a quarter right.

Oh, god, Logan was hot in that last scene. I want him to beat rapists up for me. :(

I guessed that Stan Sitwell would be the victim from early in the episode, but it makes me sad. So possible suspects:

[spoil]The obvious choices are either his wife or the prof, or the femnazis. I think they're definitely trying to make you think femnazis because of the eggs being used as a distraction. So they are definitely out. His wife and Landry are probably out, too.

I'm leaning towards it being Piz. :D Though realistically, it was probably Tim the TA, doing Landry's dirty work.[/spoil]

[spoil]Nah, they're not going to have a duo two times in a row. I think we've met the murderer, but not the reasoning.[/spoil]

And Logan beating up the cop car so he could beat up Mercer? Awesome.

bahhhh, the fact that i had to cover my mouth for a good 10 minutes is testament to how good this show got.

only bad part...

normally i find kirsten bell incredibly attractive and can't control myself (good thing i watch vmars alone), but tonight oh god her hair.

anyhow, loved the episode. crazzy suspicious about the next mystery cant say that i'm not content though that said person is gone.

I miss season one hair. :( That's the only thing I really can't argue with that has had a sharp decline in quality from season one.

I didn't like her hair in the beginning of Season 1, but she got much more gorgeous as the show went on. And I still thought she looked fantastic in last night's episode. She always looks good.

I thought last night's episode was great.

I did figure out it was the RA from the first scene he was in, but I didn't think there were two people involved.

I loved Logan going to the jail at the end to kick some ass. That was cool.

I want more of Mac back. I wish Big Love didn't take up so much of her time. I love Mac.

Anyway, I still care about the ratings because I definitely want a fourth season. If crap like The O.C. can stay on the air longer then this deserves it.

Well, I still care, I'm just trying my best not to worry about them. Better for my blood pressure this way.

If last night's ratings proved anything, it's that CW needs to actually promote this show! The promo got tons of play, apparently, and they end up with their best ratings this season, and nearly their best ratings ever.

does the american eagle tie-in help with advertising and costs, i'm sure they charge a pretty penny to get the number of ads into the show as well as the clothing worn in the show.

The CW Boasts About Veronica Mars and Its Awesome Ratings

It's been a while since the CW spun the numbers for Tuesdays, and it feels great. We can only hope that when VM returns in January, it will stay above the 3 million range.

I haven't watched in a few weeks, but I did watch last night's.

Was the Mercer thing really that much of a shocker? Had he done anything throughout the course of the season that might have pointed to him as the rapist? (I don't think I saw any episodes with him in it.)

It was a good episode, but I think I've seen better.

Mercer was a suspect for a little bit, but Logan had an alibi for him, and it turned out he had alibis for two other rapes, too. The alibi Logan had was the fake rape, and the other alibis Mercer had just proved that he couldn't have been at the parties to drug the girls, but, as we found out, he wasn't the one drugging them.
