Just saw it; was very impressed. I didn't have to roll my eyes at anything silly (ice palaces and invisible cars) and the acting was all top notch. A. The best 2006 film I have seen so far.
I note that BKB has yet to answer the trivia question to prove he even saw it.

My favorite Bond thus far. Some older entries are starting to feel dated, but are otherwise still sharp. Die Another Day was as low as the franchise sunk, almost as bad as XXX in cheesiness. I'm glad they returned to the drawing board and created a new 007 based on espionage and dialogue.

I pointed out stuff in my brief review that many of you didn't in your's, like how BOND emerged from the ocean which was a homage to another BOND Classic..

Which is of course prominently shown in clips and promotional pictures. Just answer the trivia question already.

It's Day 11 of the BKB Challenge!
How long will he go before answering the trivia question every single person who has seen the film can answer immediately?

It gives me a warm fuzzy feeling when arrogant people get pwned.

In partial agreement with BKB...
I can't quite remember what M told Bond at the end...
But I remember most everything else.

I remember it easily, it was one of the darker quotes of the film. But yes, BKB has been posting in other threads and in fac this thread since the question was already up.
So I think he will eventually see it just to say that of course he saw it, and of course his opinion wont change on the film.

The only line I remember from that last conversation was
[spoil]Him saying "The bitch is dead"[/spoil]
My new favorite line
OH! I also remember her telling him
[spoil]That she tried to save him... or something like that[/spoil]

Yeah and funny how your not held to such a high regard in whether you saw the damn thing or not like I am cause you couldn't remember a line of dialogue from the movie and after 2 weeks, neither can I.. Now what?? You still gonna accuse me of not seeing the damn movie cause I can't remember every piece of dialogue spoken in the movie?? If I identify anything else, I'm accused of going to IMDB or seeing it in the trailer so for me, it's a lose lose situation no matter what I describe in this movie and yet, I still laugh at Groucho over his insistence as to whether I saw this or not..

Ok, how about this: How did the opening chase in Madagascar end? Answer that in a good two sentences and I'll believe you saw the movie, whether you can scour for it online or not.

Say something that's not from the trailer. You're like a virgin that pretends to have had sex by describing a porn video.

I've seen reviews more brief then mine was and don't get near the hassles that I'm getting right now cause I didn't give this movie the grade you all thought it deserved.. No wonder Mav asked me to jump to BOM..

Show how idiotic everyone is being then by answering my simple question: How does the Madagascar chase scene end?

A very good movie and maybe (can't remember all) the best Bond film I've ever seen. Craig was, to my big surprise, really good. Never expected to say that but I thought he was a great choice for Bond. The action was great but not as much as I thought there would be. Really liked Eva Green too. And I absolutely loved the jumping african bomber in the beginning at Madagascar. A-

What does the word "again" in your post refer to? It can't be the classic Connery Bond movies, because humor was always an integral part of those. So perhaps your referring to the original novels which so few of us have read, and which have very little to do with the Bond movie legacy...

He. Can't. Answer.
BKB, just prove us wrong and answer the question. It's not really that hard. You say that we're making a big deal because you can't remember a piece of dialogue from the film, and obviously, after 12 days of release, that would be hard. You could have answered the question the day you "saw" it. You didn't. You didn't see the god damn film.

I saw it, I just don't have a photogenic memory like you do and can remember stuff like this after 2 weeks unless it's a really good movie, one that's memorable.. Guess CASINO ROYALE wasn't.. How about the poker game, the one that dragged on and did you notice how they were playing straight poker instead of Baccarat like they should've been playing??? No of course, I didn't see the movie....

Then why didn't you answer the question, say... twelve days ago? If you can't remember a plot moment less than 24 hours after you've seen it...
Seriously, the Madagascar scene MovieDude is the HUGE scene. It's significant to the progression of the film. If you can't even give a slight indication that you know ANYTHING that happened at the end of that scene, you did not see it. Period. This scene does not require a photographic memory. Unless you were straight up high while watching it, this is just common knowledge for someone who has seen it.

Oh, that's cool.
It's official, peeps: BKB did not see Casino Royale. I wonder what else he hasn't seen? I want to believe he's seen Superman Returns with his lengthy review and all, but I guess it could have been copy/pasted.
