I know there is sorta some but none in my opinion. I know which ones you all are going to name but I am talking about recent ones.

Like Taken it wasn't a movie but a very good mini-series about aliens.

Better than any alien movie I have seen so far.

I thought maybe signs was going to be it but it turned out to not be Though I still liked it pretty much Signs just wanted it to be something else than what it was but don't get me wrong it was a good movie!

There is just no good alien movies out there.

I know there the old War of Worlds as well but thats so old. I know there the new one coming out but I hope its as good as Taken if not better.

I just wish there was a alien movie out there that was as good as Taken or better.

This is really true. There isn't really any satisfying alien movies recently. I mean of course Alien and Close Encounter, but recently there's nothing. Nothing at all noteworthy. I love aliens, and I want a good alien movie, dammit. Now I'm pissed off!! :x

A full-fledged alien movie. Not maybes, or "perhaps they're extraterrestrials". A full on alien movie would be nice. 1996's Mars Attacks and 1998's The X-Files: Fight the Future were good (depending on your definition of good, I suppose), but I would like to see just one full-on alien movie, where aliens are shown, and it's not some b-movie rip-off. I don't know, maybe I'm nuts, but we got enough crap out already, let's try aliens. REAL aliens. Not hints or teases.

Was KPax an alien movie? Or was it about a nut. I never actually saw it and don't care if it's spoiled, it looked bad.

Men in Black 1 and 2 were high profile movies about aliens. As well as Independence Day and Stargate.

And of course Alien 1-5 and AvP but that goes without saying.

Yeah but recently there hasn't been many. The aliens in Signs was the worst attempt at an alien I've ever seen in a modern movie, it just looked like a man in a rubber suit literally.

KPax, the way i interpreted it, WAS INDEED an alien movie. And a very good one in my opinion (but again, thats subject to ones interpretation of the movie).

Signs at the core had very little to do with aliens. Aliens were just a tool used .. the movie wasn't about them.

Contact implied aliens .... saw them briefly .. nothing more.

yup, save Star Trek and Star Wars, no recent Alien movie comes to mind .... there is AvP but .... I'd rather not go there.

I definately wouldn't call Armageddon a "fantastic" movie on a critical level. So I woudln't have listed it here :?
