Well, there's only two of those.

Possible spoilers for this week... not the results, just an educated guess. I put it in spoilers, so no one gets mad.

[spoil]I'm 99% certain this week is non-elim, unless the producers pull a fast one on the viewers. And, I think the second Yield last year happened on a non-elim leg, which sorta defeated the purpose of the Yield.[/spoil]

I know but I want to kvetch about the All-Star edition! I guarantee an unsatisfactory conclusion, where some random team that didn't deserve to be there in the first place takes home the million. I could be wrong but this has happened 100% of the time in other All-Star versions (yes I know there are only two but they have been unmitigated disasters). And I'd rather see new teams than Romber (for the fifth time!!), boring Kris/Jon & John Vito/Jill, the Guidos, etc. etc.

Is anyone else following the real spoilers? If so (and this is very spoilery, so beware)

[spoil] Dustin/Kandice go out next, barring a miracle. The other three teams were spotted in Paris and on a flight to New York (I think). I just hope the BQs go out for mistakes of their own and are not yielded out of the race, cause that would just suck. I do think next leg is non-elim, D/K get the 30 minutes "marked for elimination," and what would really be awful is if they beat one (or more) teams to the next pit stop but are taken out because of the half hour penalty. [/spoil]

[spoil]Yeah, that'd throw a wrench in this almost perfect season... Tyler and James vs Dustin and Kandice was looking like such a promising showdown.

Lyn and Karyln: The strongest all female team ever! [/spoil]

[spoil]Oh I wish it weren't! But these are the Paris pictures: http://s106.photobucket.com/albums/m263 ... jasaputra/ (scroll down) No BQs :( Pretty much any TAR fan site with a spoiler thread should have similar info, just a lot more convoluted. This season has easily been the most spoiled as far as sightings of the Racers go (starting in Kuwait there were pictures of the teams still in it posted on the web, and even video of an unaired roadblock in Mauritius) though thankfully there have been no betting spoilers to ruin the whole thing. [/spoil]

If D&K get eliminated, I'm going to. . .

Ugh, I can't coem up with a reasonable way to release my anger.

But I'll be pissed.

Oh, and may karma give Lyn and Karlyn. . .

Damn, I can't think of a good punishment there either.

Oh well, fuck you two hypocrites.

OH THANK GOD.

Now if Lyn & Karlyn get eliminated. . .THAT would be good karma. "Oh boo hoo they yielded us even though WE WERE GOING TO YIELD THEM ANY aren't we good people?" No, now get eliminated and GO AWAY.

1. Dustin & Kandice (WINWINWIN)
2. Tyler & James (They're alpha-males, but fun alpha-males)
3. Rob & Kimberly (They've gone from annoying to very entertaining; has a team ever had luck as bad as theirs? )
4. Lyn & Karlyn (JUST GO AWAY)

What was the rankings? I was on pins and needles from mom's comments at the halfway point (I specifically told her not to spoil it for me, but she didn't listen). I might as well get the rankings now. please tell me DK aren't last place. I suspect it was non-elim, but last place is still a bitch for next week.

They are.

1. Tyler & James
2. Lyn & Karlyn (By one minute, due to T&J forgetting some pendent that won them a sidekick)
3. Rob & Kim
4. Dustin & Kandice (Non-elimination w/30 minute penalty of they don't win the leg)

They're good racers, so I have hope that they level off and they surge ahead, but still. . .

1. This season is awesome, one of the best ever.

2. [spoil]D & K are almost assured to go home next week, judging from the semi-heel turn/go bama! turn the tone of the show took this week, plus the non-elimination fits into it perfectly, plus it looks like next week's episode doesn't go near Paris... the spoiler looks dead on.[/spoil]

3. If D & K are eliminated next week, potentially we go from one of the best final 3s ever to one of the worst, despite this great season. Tyler and James, Lyn and Karlyn, and Rob and Kim is just not a good final 3. Tyler and James, Dustin and Kandice, Rob and Kim/Lyn and Karyln... now that's a finals.

4. At this point I just REALLY don't want Tyler and James to win, they're entertaining but oh so forgettable among the alpha male domination this show has had. I don't even know why TAR casts them anymore, they win every time they're in the race, and I think it's going to happen again here.

Karlyn has to be one of the nastiest contestants in a long time on TAR. She's also a hypocrit. How dare the Blondes yield her team before she could yield them.I really hope she and Lynn are gone next week.

What's with the Yield? I recall Colin and Christy finishing well behind the other teams when they were yielded. Yet Bama almost won the leg and the Blondes finished behind both a yielded team and a team that had a flat tire. The Yield like the FF doesn't seem to mean much this season.

:hahaha: :hahaha:

SO the lovely people over at TWOP have been talking about someone's morning wood. They found out Tyler is the early riser.

LOL!

No.

No, Lyn and Karlyn aren't suppose to be the longest-running female team ever, not the team that relied on two superior teams for most of the race.

It was suppose to be DUSTIN AND FUCKING KANDICE, THE ONLY FUCKING TEAM WORTH FUCKING ROOTING FOR ANYFUCKINGMORE.

I haven't been so royally PISSED at an exit from any reality show since Christie on Survivor: Amazon.

Tyler and James should win, by default. Rob & Kim argue way too much to last long-term (Any couple would be all lovey-dovey if they came in first on the second-to-final leg) and L&K...oh god, I'm pissed again.....

Well, there goes that. I guess you can't have the team I have been rooting for every single week during one of the best seasons ever ACTUALLY WIN. Ahhhhh. Stupid show.

I would like to know why Lyn and Karlyn have made it to the final three while the BQs have not. This disturbs me.

Other random thoughts:

Heh, they found the only way to make a "needle in a haystack" Detour worse...having outsiders peg tomatoes at them.

I guess I'm rooting for James & Tyler? But their win would be so...similiar to so many other winners of this show.

Rob & Kim have gotten better, I wouldn't freak out if they won.

Karlyn annoys the crap out of me, but I would slightly enjoy a Bama win if only for an all-female team winning it, or because I like Lyn.

In conclusion, I am extremely bitter over Dustin & Kandice's elimination. I find this almost (but not quite) as upsetting as when Kris & Jon narrowly lost the race to Freddy and Princess Kendra.

Well, I guess we can hope those D&K-in-All-Stars rumors are true. With them and Team Kentucky, that'd be awesome.

I'm worried about people I loved previously returning for a second time.

Like...

I went from loving the crap out of Stephenie in Survivor Palau to wanting her to get off my TV in Guatemala.

I went from loving the crap out of Janelle in Big Brother 2005 to alternating being "meh" and "stopppp" on All-Stars.

Also:

I love how the editors waited until tonight to reveal that Lyn/Karlyn have been calling each other "sistahs." They've been making the BQs look bad for weeks now by showing them "sistah this, sistah that"...

That's a concern of mine for a couple of teams rumoured to have been selected as well. Watch they won't be on it after all and my concern will all be for naught.

As for this episode, I wasn't a fun of the teams getting all on the same flight, and for bunching due to hours of operation at the maze, if someone is marked for elimination that just makes it even more difficult when the leg is acting against you. No FF's for Dustin and Kandace like Dave and Mary. Oh well, at this point I am hoping for a Tyler and James win, wouldn't be that upset at a Rob and Kimberely win and would not be pleased with a Karlyn win, if Lyn could get all the money for winning I would be a bit happier.

Go Rob and Kim!

(80% sure it's Tyler and James that take it though)

Yeah, I noticed that.

As for the episode...

Not happy that D&K went home, but I can live.

This is a mediocre top 3, but I'm rooting for Tyler & James.

Rob & Kim are still ridiculous and not fun to watch. Lyn & Karlyn, no.

Right...

these last few episodes, Bamas have been getting good edits while D&K have been reduced to chuckling in some cutaway shots. Their foreshadowing has been unsubtle lately...
