The only plotline that I think drags is Nikki's.
I do think that in the end he character will pickup if she can ever learn to control her powers. DL is cool, I like his character. You know their kid is going to have some kind of power ... the question is just ... what.

I've not managed to watch the latest ep yet, the sonofabitch is taking fekking ages to d/l.
I suspect it might have something to do with Arsi talking in my ear all the damn time.

Am I the only one who thinks that maybe they've been fooling up the whole time with Nikki and she's actually gonna be one of the villians? The tatoo on her neck sorta gave me that impression, and it'd certainly make sense with her power.

Wait, DL has powers? Was that what he did? I couldn't tell if he stuck his hand through her stomach or what the hell.
I guess I couldn't tell because Arsi was chatting in... oh fuck it, that joke is played out. Stupid Archie and stupid Snrub.

Unfortunately
[spoil]There's apparently going to be an episode upcoming with flashbacks to 6 months ago. So much for it not being like Lost in that respect. I avoid spoilers for this but stumbled upon that in an nbc press release.[/spoil]

I won't mind flashbacks on Heroes. Prison Break did it too in Season 1. It wasn't anything special, but it gave a bit more insight on the main characters.

DL can basically walk through walls, actually more like he can put himself through anything... her body included. He grabbed her heart I believe, like somebody mentioned above.

I just rewatched the ending of Heroes this week. I noticed something: the first half of Niki (I assume) had DL's hand through her chest/stomach, however it kept cutting between that and presumably the other half of Niki, which DL was choking. Her first half wasn't being choked, but the other half was. Her first half had his hand through her, but her other half didn't.
I think.
Maybe she either lost her evil half, or her evil half will now take over her body.

"We made a pact internally that we weren't going to be the show that made you wait for stuff." says creator Tim Kring.

Have tried to watch a few episodes. The cast just doesn't click with me on any level except the Japanese guys and the cop guy. Everything about the Japanese guys is groovy.
Also the whole "NBC" vibe of voice overs and even the cinematography make it look cheap and cheesy. I'm actually surprised that so many people like it. It seems to be mining the X-Men territory too much. Powers may be different in some cases, but not really the ideas. With the Cheerleader plot kinda reminding me of Buffy. *yawn*.
Quote: Yeah but even if it's the best thing ever, it's odd for a 3rd placed network to be catering to a niche and making the picture awkward and annoying for the majority of their viewers.
But in 5 years the number of Widescreen TVs will be up substantially and people will be complaining that Heroes didn't film in HD or Widescreen. You are not taking into account longevity. Fox, Sci-Fi, MTV, etc. a lot of networks are moving into this territory, not just the three big ones.
Also DVDs have made the public aware of the function of "the bars".

Here's something I'm curious about: how many episodes will there be this season? Assuming it will be the usual 22 episodes, then we're looking at a big stretch of repeats coming up eventually. As of the last episode in November, there will be 10 aired episodes. Also assuming there will be at least one new episode in December, that's 11 episodes before 2007, leaving the same amount of episodes for January through till May. Even if NBC ordered 24 episodes, the show will probably have a 2-hour season finale in May.
Seems like they should have added at least two other repeats before the end of the year. Unless they plan on taking the show off the air at some point for two months, then bringing it back without repeats.

After catching up with the last episode last night, and the new episode tonight, I have to say that the last two episodes have been the weakest so far. They're still good, but not as good.

Yeah, this was probably the weakest episode so far. Nothing new really.

I am not sure about nothing new. The whole guy who could nuke people. I think we found out how Syler will nuke NY. He will take his powers and nuke the city. Also Micha has powers, and we learn more about the cop. Not a lot, really these last two episodes are fillers, but we need those other wise the show would be over in a couple of episodes.

Surprisingly enough, I find myself most interested in Claire's storyline, which I cannot say I was expecting when I first started watching this show.
And: man, Rena Sofer seems like she's everywhere these days.
And: Did anyone notice that the reporter trying to get dirt on Nathan Petrelli was the same actor who played Slime/Miles on 24 last season? My godddddddddddd I hated him so much

Good episode still. I liked Nathan a lot here, he's a shark, but underneath he wants to decipher the painting and do something about it.

Decent episode but last week's was better. Claire still has the best storyline with Hiro second because he's so likeable.
