It's going to be a real kick in the pants for Eko, to kill him off. He was near death, brought back, only to be killed off? Ouch. Not to mention that with his death, that would be all of the tailies dead. Ana Lucia, Libby and Eko. Oh, and Bernard. He's closest to death, being the oldest. [/spoil]

It's not Ben, he is in Episode 6.

[spoil]It's not an other, as the only major ones (Juliette, Gale) are involved in future episodes.

It's not Rosseau, or Desmond, as they seem like they'll have future ends that need to be tied up (ex. Rosseau's daughter, Desmond, and what he has to do with anything...)

It's not Sawyer, Jack, or Kate, as they apparently are the big story for episode 6.

It's not Walt or Michael as we haven't heard anything about them and they aren't supposed to appear this season...

It's not those two newbies, as we haven't heard from them (ie Paulo and whoever that other one is).

It's not Rose or Bernard as we haven't heard from them either...

Even though it was Sun that the others are likely mad at, she also is pregnant, so I don't think they'll go after her. I also don't think it will be Claire, because they had the chance before, but didn't get rid of her then.

Eko was already hurt, but its supposed to be shocking episode, so I don't think they'll cut him, as he's the only major character left from the tail, and he will be very important to explain the rumored appearance of another group of others, so I don't see him leaving.

Getting rid of Hurley out of the blue wouldn't do much, nor would it for Charlie. I don't see how it would really add much to the story.

Sayid seems like he'll have a story down the road, so I don't see them cutting him either.

So its between:

Jin
Locke

But I just read that Locke has a story after the break, so its probably not him.

So that leaves Jin. They can still tell the story of Jin through Sun, so it could very well be him too. .....he was also around at the time that the boat was taken by the others, so that other might hold Jin as one of those responsible...[/spoil]

It's not him, he has a story dealing with the pregnancy after the break. (That I think doesn't get "resolved" until the last few episodes of Season 3).
