Mr. X wrote: What was that about anyway? That seemed crappy to put Eva Longoria on the show to cheer on Lopez. It's almost like ABC was saying "Hey... you like Eva Longoria, right? Well, she likes Mario Lopez, so vote Mario." Celebs shouldn't be allowed to cheer on other celebs. Don't ask me why. At least on Idol, they just show the celebs. They don't get up, and say "Vote for so-and-so".
Well, Rebecca Romijn DID request that Taylor do an encore. Has Pepper Dennis been cancelled yet?

Sara Evans quit.
Quote: Sara Evans Quits 'Dancing with the Stars'
Country star Sara Evans has decided to pull out of the Dancing with the Stars competition due to personal reasons, an ABC spokesperson confirms to PEOPLE. In a statement released by her personal rep, it was revealed that Evans had filed for divorce from husband Craig Schelske on Thursday.
Evans, 35, who's the mother of three young children (ranging in age from 2 to 7), made the decision to leave the show "to give her family her full attention at this difficult time," it said in the statement. "Ms. Evans hopes her fans and TV viewers ... will respect and understand her need for privacy in the face of these recent events."
The singer, who was partnered with professional dancer Tony Dovolani, will make her final appearance on the show on October 17. "This has really taken me by surprise," Dovolani told PEOPLE about her departure.
She always seemed timid about the intimacy involved. Maybe her husband was extremely jealous. Still, why not finish it out? It's not like she was going to last much longer. It almost seems like she quit sooner than later so she didn't have to be embarrassed when she got the boot. Booooo.

Yeah but if she finishes it out her husband might use that against her in a custody battle. Keeping her kids in the split up is probably her primary concern right now.
Well who knows of course, that's just how it reads to me.

Apparently, Sara filed for divorce because:
Her husband was a horny dog. Pictures on the net of him involved in porn. He was listed on online dating sites looking to hook up for sex. Verbal abuse and threats. That's why the sudden filing and why she quit the show.
She has a blog right here. (I didn't read any of the above there, I heard it on Showbiz Today)

Mario is sooo winning this. He would deserve to, too. He and his partner have the most chemistry, and he's just a better dancer than the other stars are.
Jerry is clearly going home tomorrow. His joke has run it's course.

Not surprised to see Jerry go home after his temporary stay of execution because Sara quit. I'll miss his comic relief, though. Monique, you're not a real star or even a has been, so you're obviously next. That'll leave it between 3 guys. Wow...never saw that coming. I still think Mario has this, after all, Eva Longoria is endorsing him (plus he's the best of the bunch), but I was glad to see Emmitt and Joey close the gap and set up a possible upset if Mario isn't on his game.

Cockfest? Yes. Lovingly? No.
Cocktoberfest is more fitting.

Woohooo...nice comeback, Emmitt!
Mario is still the frontrunner. Every week, they are on top, or at least tied with the top spot. Joey keeps himself in the race with two strong performances. Emmitt is a legend. It's hard to beat the fact that he's easily the biggest "star" in the competition, so the good scores are gravy for him. Monique, it's all over. You gave a nice performances to go out on, but you're not really a star or has been, so the party is over.
Looks like it's indeed coming down to the guys.
I predict Joey to be leaving next week, setting up Emmitt vrs. Mario.
Once again, the band showed themselves to be vastly superior to the band on American Idol. I hope this raises the bar for the musicianship that American Idol accepts.

Anyone know who got the boot tonight? I missed it.

Damn, they were all excellent tonight. Emmitt finally got that 30 he's been wanting! I'm thinking that it's still going to be Joey going home, setting up Emmitt vrs. Mario, and if Emmitt dances like he did tonight, his "bigger star" factor is going to come in handy.

Emmitt has always been good. He's definitely improved, as they all have, but he's probably been the second best dancer in the competition behind Mario from Day 1.

Again, I have to say, the band totally kicks the ass of American Idol's band. Not even close.
Can't believe they are doing a note perfect rendition of the James Bond theme!!!

Mario is my prediction, but Emmitt could beat him. Look at last year. Stacy Kiebler was easily the frontrunner and best dancer all season, but she was bumped in the semi finals like Joey was tonight. Emmitt's a much bigger star. Mario Lopez is basically a has been actor who people remember from Saved by the Bell, while Emmitt is forever immortalized as an American hero and hall of fame football player. He doesn't have to be as good of a dancer to get the audience vote, so it's really up in the air, but I'll pick Mario. (I'm a huge Cowboys fan so I'm rooting for Emmitt)

Holy crap, two 30 scores for Emmitt, and Mario got a 29 his first dance. Emmitt really might steal this thing!

After Mario's 29, it was painfully obvious that Emmitt would also get a 29. Now they'll scream "IT'S THE CLOSEST RACE EVAH!!!!".
Sadly, I missed Stacy Keibler in the audience. I hope she looked good.

I knew the fix was in. I'll bet Mario gets a 30 for that last dance, even though they clearly were out of step a few times. They'll go into tomorrow tied, and I hope Emmitt's star power gets the votes from the viewers. He's definitely got the advantage in star power over Mario.

I had the sound turned down, so I missed the end. The camera went to Stacy in the audience. Is she dancing in the finale? *prays*
