Well, if it's true, [spoil]at least we know they're keeping the show dark, despite the push to grab the Gilmore Girls audience. But I would assume Kendall. I don't think she's very main, but there's no one else from last season who they can kill who was a regular guest star. I guess they could off Jackie, but what would be the point other than making the haters happy? But everyone else, pretty much, is either dead, or a regular this season.[/spoil]

Great minds think alike.

I just can't imagine a reason why they would find it necessary. The "director's cut" tells us what the MotW is for the premiere, and it just seems like, what with the summer wrap-up and the MotW and introducing the new characters, they can't possibly have enough time to make a big deal out of it, and it would probably only be mentioned in passing. At that point, what's the point?

Good show, with great main characters, father and daughter Mars. Can't decide who I favor more.
Most of the character problems I had with Wallace, atleast in season 1, just felt that writters didn't do much for him then...thankfully, in season 2 he got better.
As I've seen here some talk about unresolved mysteries, what about mrs. Goodman? I really thought Gia's brother was the one who was 'mentally abused'. Looked that way atleast, and am sorry Veronica didn't thought there could be two abused children after all.
Anyway, good show, seen two seasons in a span of about a week, and now have another show to look for along with BSG.

Just popping in...
I kind of want to try this show, but I won't be getting the CW... maybe if Global plays it or something, I can tune in for once. They did a couple summers ago, but I wasn't able to follow, as tv in the summer and my schedule don't mix.
Season 1 would be on my upcoming purchase list, but I have so much on there already. Buffy Season 2(on my quest to all 7), Lost, One Tree Hill, and this is all coming after my cash depleting movie spree not too long ago, ah. Maybe I'll hold off on Lost and OTH for a while because I've already seen all the episodes, dunno.
Or maybe I'll just save my money and go through the episodes downloading. Once my bedroom internet is back up, possibly.

Get the first season of Veronica Mars. It's excellent. I watched it in 2 days this past January.

Don't buy season 1 in Canada. I sent my friend a copy from the States, because up there it's like 70 CAD, as opposed to 20 USD here.

I don't remember it being 20 dollars. I thought it was around 40-50 dollars.

Since season 2 came out, it's on sale everywhere (Target, Best Buy, Wal Mart, etc) for $20. The sales have been going on for weeks, and don't appear to be ending any time soon. You can even get it from bestbuy.com for $20.

No, I never had or watched the show on the WB either, it was always some other station or downloading.

The premiere will be up on MSN at around midnight tonight. http://tv.msn.com/tv/tvbuzz But it's available already through some weird thingy. To download, go here. But make sure you click the link on MSN once it's up. From several computers, and several ip addresses.

The new opening credits:

Very, very different. But I think it might fit the tone of the show a little more? Even if I think the original credits are the most ones on TV right now. Or was.

Don't spoil anything just say - was it THE Veronica Mars ep or was it just a Veronica Mars ep?

Don't like the new credits that much, if at all. Well, actually, video is fine, but song not.

Without spoilers, I think this season's premiere was much better than last season's. They seem to have made the transition to college seamlessly.
I like the new opening credits. I'm glad they didn't get a completely new song. It's a bit jarring fading out of the teaser and having the song be the wrong tempo, but I'm sure I'll get used to it. But overall, the tone of the credits are much more fitting for the show than the old ones, especially since they're no longer in high school.

I like the new video a lot more... But the song... I think it should've stayed a bit more uptempo...

I'm lukewarm on the premiere. It was good, but I don't know. At the same time I also wasn't crazy about it. I love Piz, though. If Logan loses Veronica to anyone, atleast it's someone as adorable and likeable as him.

Life as We Know It. I think he was the one who went out with Kelly Osbourne's character.
