Well, unfortunately Canadian CBC aired next weeks episode instead of the opener... click if you want spoilers.

[spoil]Well Christina meets Burke's parents and the mom doesnt like her that much and calls her selfish and she takes it in, she doesnt bust. Meredith is going to make her decision and decides to not decide and wants to date them both which leads to a very awkward scene between Chris Odonell and Patrick Dempsey. And Bailey tells Izzy she failed her and wants her to come back to work. And George's girlfriend gets kicked out of living in the hospital and moves in with george.[/spoil]

I didn't think it was that great a premiere. I mean they needed something really well done and big to grab viewers and keep them tuning in. It wasn't good that they had basically no immediate cliffanger.

And I thought Baily's storyline was SO incredibly forced that I couldn't buy any of it. I really disliked the season 2 finale for different reasons. But this one I disliked because it just wasn't that good. I may give it a couple more episodes... otherwise, I'll have thursday nights free.

CTV aired next week's episode, not CBC.

Hmm... I feel bad for my mom. She didn't even know it was the second episode.

You're in denial. Don't worry, by next week you should be past the Anger and Bargaining stages. You'll be too grief-stricken to even watch Grey's Anatomy, and by week three, you'll be at the final stage: acceptance. Then, you won't have to watch Grey's Anatomy anymore!

My favorite scene was the Addison flashback.

I LOVE ADDISON!!!
She's the only thing worth watching now.

I watched it and Addison's flashback was the highlight for me too, she seemed very different looking and more likeable.

With all the flashbacks I kept expecting Jack from Lost to show up with a tear in his eye.

But aren't interns supposed to work like 16 hour days? Where do they get all this time for a social life.

I didn't think it was bad. I liked some of it, even got a little involved, but the drama and tension that were so thick by the end of last season (or at least what I saw, which I guess was the last two episodes) were basically nonexistent here. Besides, I think ER has done the quarantine thing like 8 million times.

And I still, at times, just can't stand the dialogue. The Meredith/Izzy-on-the-floor scene looked heartbreaking from the ads but was undercut by the show's token contrivances when it comes to two characters talking realistically.

Oh I agree. The "put your hand on mine!" scene was ridiculous.

I think there's still something inherently enjoyable about the show, though (the characters are still fun to watch), and I guess I did enjoy the episode.

Just still have some big problems with the show.

Oh yeah, that's me.

Because you people can't deal with GREY'S ANATOMY OVERTAKING CSI, don't take it on me. I'll continue to worship the show.

By the way, I think Addison is my new favorite character (it fluctuates often). Kate Walsh has been amazing.

Addison has been my favorite from a third of the way into season 2. Kate Walsh is so underrated on the show. Even without her flashback, she seemed to be the best and most believable of all the characters and their storylines.

It wasn't really McDreamy of McDreamy to shove Addison out of the door like that.

It was a really well filmed scene, it was convincing from both of them, and it did a good job of making you sympathize with Addison but also be angry at her.

This episode was great, I watched on Friday, does nayone know if they will always be reshowing it on Fridays?

I'm pretty sure I read they'll be showing Friday encores for the time being. So for at least another few weeks, I'd guess.

I didn't know you watched Grey's!

They aired episode 2, THEN episode 1 in Canada.

Luckily, I was late coming home, and only got to see the 2nd hour (which was ironically the first hour).

I rarely did last year becasue it came on so late and I get up at 4am, so I would watch it when I oculdn;t sleep, between that and reruns/DVD, I have seen most of the first two seasons.

If they stop the friday night's I'll just buy it from iTunes.

You are seriously like the sister I wish I had, because I have way more in common with you then my actual sisters.

I've never been much of an Addison fan, but she was the only character (other than when Alex was saving the baby) I liked in the premiere. I loved her pinning the underwear on the bulletin board.
