Thanks, Archie. When I want to watch this later, I won't have to look far for it.

Well, the crappy thing about YouTube is that everything is taken down so quickly. The pilot videos are gone; "no longer available". Anywhere else to catch this pilot without having to pay?
PEACE, Mike.

If you go to http://www.youtube.com and put studio 60 in the search box, you can find the pilot, it's still there and viewable. I clicked on 2 installments and they started normally.

Well, I finally got to see the pilot. In a nutshell, I'm anxious to see where it goes. I thought the pilot was good, but it's nothing more than a set-up to the rest of the series. Well... that's what a pilot is. Since I'm rarely a huge fan of pilots, I'm going to wait for future episodes, but even on pilot standards, it's above average.
Can't wait for this to get going.

The pilot aired last night on CTV in Canada, and premieres tonight on NBC. I actually liked the pilot even more upon second viewing. And, my mom likes it. And she's not a big fan of dramas.

Well, it is Sorkin. I found early West Wing to be funnier than many so-called comedies.

Excited for the premiere tonight. This looks like one of the promising new shows of the fall.

Awesome avatar, but the premiere for Veronica Mars is October 3rd, not October 2nd.

Saw it last night on CTV. Really enjoyed it. I guess that's another one to add to the schedule. Tonight, I gotta check out Smith.

Watched the last 15 minutes of it last night, it was better than what I expected after sampling some of it on youtube. Might tune in next week.

I liked it a lot. It was great to see Matthew Perry on TV again. I missed him . Amanda Peet is so pretty too and I like her character a lot so far. I'm curious as to where it goes.

I loved the pilot. I don't think there was one false note throughout. I liked Judd Hirsch in his limited role. He was in the show for only a couple of minutes and he'll probably never be on the show again, but his few minutes on there were memorable. The only thing I didn't enjoy was that there seemed to be a commercial every few minutes. Just when you were getting into a plot development, it was cut off. I guess I really liked the pilot to notice that.
One question though. I saw the preview for next week's episode. What was the length in time between filming the pilot and the second episode? Everybody looks completely different in the clips for the second show.

Pilots are usually filmed around January-ish or earlier, and the rest of the season isn't filmed until July, I believe.

Awful show. So incredibly pretentious it's sad. Who cares about the rich Hollywood characters on the show? They're not relatable in the slightest.

Except it's extremely entertaining, and I'm already attached to some of the characters.

Yeah, if you like pretentious crap that's your problem.

I wouldn't get my hopes up about this series lasting very long, to be honest, no offense to any of the fans here.
I need to see the ratings about as much as I did for Love Monkey. An acclaimed dialogue and character based drama, set in an intelligent setting? Goodnight in 13 episodes, maybe less.

For once I agree completely with Joe's take. I tried to watch it again tonight but it was just too insufferably pretentious and phony. Once was enough.

Joe, you're trying to be less jerk-ish and irritating? Don't say things like that to people...
Try respectfully disagreeing...

For the record, I wasn't totally wowed by the pilot, but I found it rather refreshing and intelligent. I hope Aaron Sorkin keeps writing for most episodes.
