I'm glad that they are going through with a Big Brother 8. I was a little concerned at first, but after seeing the ratings from Tuesday, I knew they would do another.

Anyway, although this season is going to have THE WORST WINNER EVER, it's been enjoyable. BB is amazingly addictive.

I would agree. Despite all possible plot devices and gaming bombing...

- Coup d'Etat = bomb
- Prom King/Queen advantage in HOH = bomb
- America's Choices = there was none!
- Volcano Endurance HOH = bomb
- Part 3 Final HOH = bomb (7 silly questions for the most important HOH ever, that's it??)

...I found this season actually very fun and addictive. Will and Janelle going out before the final 2 is unfortunate, but ultimately did not affect the quality of the show, in my opinion (since Will was evicted on the second last episode, and Janelle on the last episode, heh). The only people that really lose out are the live feed viewers for the last 5 days or so (until they are shut down just before the finale, and never return). Infact, Tuesdays show with Will's eviction was one of the most entertaining/tense shows yet, as well as had one of the best rated shows for Big Brother in a long while. And Danielle's exit was certainly insane (poor Dani), and she made it pretty far too. Overall, I liked the season entertainment wise. Erika and Boogie may be a crummy final 2, but on the finale, we'll probably see more of the jury anyways, because BB knows we would love to see people like Will, Janelle, Danielle, James, etc.

PEACE, Mike.

Yea, where were all the America's Choices? This was All Stars, after all. Maybe they knew that season 6 would win all of them and decided not to because of that?

It didn't even have to be America's Choices, or anything that let us help a houseguest (if they were worried about BB6 dominating). I just know that they promised us (the audience) that we would have a whole new level of participation in the game this season, but we had virtually none. It all kinda fell flat, like they were too lazy and decided to do nothing.

PEACE, Mike.

It did feel like a normal season (Minus that we've seen these people before). Besides the Coup, which fell flat, we had no shakeups. It seems like every year we have had something exciting, but nothing this year.

Ugh! That damn Ivette from S6... "Everybody likes a spicy Latina." Ahhh, just slap that bitch. A spicy latina where exactly? The Dead Sea?

Mike Malin thinks he is the ultimate player of women. This was evident in Season 2 as well and even moreso on feeds of both seasons. This guy is a true jerk.

Sorry buddy, but you look a decade older than you are and are pretty much a dog. Now, I would never normally say this. It's just that the guy needs the air let out of his tires. I pretty much agree with Libs on the guy. He seems like he would be an abusive prick if you lived with him for awhile. I am sure he has had a lot of lays (as he so claims). Moreso because he's rich, not because he's hot or because of his shining persona.

There are rumors going around that Mike has a thing for Will now. After his recent behavior, I can see why people would think it. Personally, I don't think that Mike is gay. I just think that he has a lot of security issues and looks up to Will like a god for whatever reason. Mike still thinks he is in High School and Will is the cool dude he always wanted to hang out with. I think that's what sums that up.

I definately think that Howie does have the hots for Will though - not just in a joking way either. The feeds were even more evident of this. He really just kept going after him at times. I mean who sits and caresses your neck for 15 minutes (telling you how special you are) if it's just a running gag? That's just one example. I mean thats a long time.

They should have brought back Lori from Season 3 for Allstars. The woman was completely insane and it would have added to the trainwreck this show has always been.

Past clip of Lori's insanity.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wFC7JK43H9g

Justin from Season 2 and Will-Mega from Season 1 should have been brought back as well. lol.

----------------

Here's some past clips of Justin and his insanity. How did this guy ever pass the mental health test to begin with? Seriously, why are people crying? They just met him like the same week. They are acting like he's dead or commited suicide in the household.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TQ1wXnvP ... ed&search=

Watch Julies reaction at the 1:35 mark as Justin goes to pick up water. This interview almost reminds me of a partial parody, but it's real.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X4N8bIa1 ... ed&search=

----------

Monica should have definately made it back in the house as well. I forgot about her outbursts. "Come on and let's play" ha.

I think they made a mistake letting the public choose the all stars, they should have just selected the ones they wanted themselves, they'd probably have done a better job of picking fun people and made a better series.

About Janelle, I have to say something. I thoroughly understand guys if you all just plain like her, I get that, but she was far from the best player, she was one of the most easily manipulatable member of the household. Even on House Calls they kept saying that for most of the season she usually just does whatever the last person who talked to her said.

She wasn't an underdog, she had lots of friends, but she lost them one by one partly due to her own fault. She's good at the competition playing part but less so at the far more important part of strategy. But she was entertaining and I can see liking her more than Boogie or Erika.

I agree with everything you said. Her strategic abilities leave much to be desired, and she was absolutely terrible at handling stress. It's a shame really, because by winning four HOHs and five vetoes, she was in a position where she could have easily dominated the game. Instead, she acted as Kaysar's lapdog for the first few weeks, then when he was evicted she went over to Will, where she was toyed with in some of the worst ways I've seen in BB history. Even the whole "revelation" she had with Erika didn't really add much to her credibility, since it was Erika who planted the seeds and convinced her to vote Will out.

But anyway, I'm pissed as hell like everyone else. I was sooooo worried for the past few weeks that we'd see either Mike, Erika, or George in the finals. I guess it's even more of a letdown considering this is an All-Star season and that three of the best players in the house (Janelle, Will, and Danielle) were so close. However, I still think this season has been a triumph up until this point, as most of my favorites made it further than I thought.

How sad is it that I could be right, without even watching the first episode of All-Stars?

I think my love affair with Big Brother is over. At the very least, like many here, it's over for this year. No more feeds videos, and I may skip the finale entirely. I don't need to see the two coat-tailers take home more money than they deserve. Last year, I learned to love Janelle and Howie, and it was tough seeing them back this year because I knew their chances of final two was slim to none. Even though any Howie fans are pretty much gone (all because of a fight that was most likely staged and instigated to make for good TV, by the producers or Howie himself), I'm still a big fan, and a big big fan of Janelle.

As for next year, I think that no matter what, I'm going to be disappointed by the crop of wannabes and 500 grand hopefuls. Watching Alison and Jun, Cowboy and Drew, Ivette and Maggie, and now Erika and Boogie is nothing short of damaging to the TV watcher in me. It's tough watching such unlikeable people win this game, time and time again.

But, I am playing this up quite a bit. I'm pissed off at Janelle's eviction, and it's definitely getting to me, simply because the summer is almost over and I'm still doing little to nothing myself, so I have nothing else to think about. I'm more than certain that I'll be watching BB8, and heck, I'll likely watch Survivor: Cook Islands. I just wish All-Stars was all a bad, bad dream.

Have they done this every year?

http://www.cbs.com/primetime/bigbrother7/extras/jury/

I don't know what to think...either they do it every year just in case someone leaves the jury house, or someone actually did leave the jury house.

lol...I love Jack:

Quote:
Erika went into the finals with the player she had the most chance of beating. Still, I think that Boogie will have more votes in the jury after Will convinces the other jurors that his turkey friend is really an eagle.

Let me see, which has more appeal? Boogie winning BB7 or getting a root canal? Excuse me while I get a root canal.

The vote (I'm the only voter) is in for the Emmy awards for the BB7 All Stars.

For best performances in the Diary Room: Will and Boogie together, Will alone, and Will with Janelle. Honorable mention in the DR: Boogie for his lonely attempt to call Will after Will's eviction.

For best late night harangue while under the influence: Danielle.

For best performance without a strategy: George

For the couple most fun to watch having sex: No winner.

For best entry on the Revenge of the House Guests Blog: Jun, questioning Erika's judgement in exposing herself to the bacteria in Boogie's mouth.

Yeah, this is what it says after you vote:

"Thank you for voting. If the Jury vote is tied, your vote could help determine the winner."

If the jury vote is tied? There are 7 jury members; odd number. Did Will's massive ego cause him to refuse to be part of the jury, and he left? lol.

Seems weird; with the way they word it, it's as if one of the jury members has some trouble which won't allow them to vote for some reason or other. Or maybe this is the precausion they do every year? I've never seen it before.

PEACE, Mike.

from another forum, quotes by Erika today to Boogie, said at different times during the day I assume:

-----------

"I'm sorry-I adore you honey but I just had to do it [evict Will]. I know he was your best friend."

"I love you. I love you. You make me laugh more than anyone I've ever met."

"We need to get out of this house. I mean we like each other, but we need to miss each other a little now."

"Boogie, your body looks fucking awesome".

-----------

Someone please hand her a Boogie DR highlight reel.

Told you

Congratulations to Mike Boogie for winning the final HOH and taking CT to the final two.I enjoyed hearing Boogie say that's for you Will after he won HOH and later watching him send Janelle to the jury. All that's left is the finale when Boogie will be named the winner of Big Brother All Stars.

Chill Town forever and ever.

I just can't believe that she actually likes this guy! Boogie hates her, so she isn't going to get anything. Once they're out of the house, she's going to be so embarrassed, so hurt, and I'm sure in Boogie's words: "so gone". It's pretty sad.

PEACE, Mike.

My Favorites: The 14
14. Marcellas - He was a non-existant player. I can't even judge anything.
13. Erika - One good move at the end was obviously just her attempts to stay, and get rid of Will at the same time.
12. Boogie - Brrrringg... brrringgg... oh man... you're nothing without Will.
11. Chicken George - Now I know why everyone hated him at the start. He just got on my nerves on the last few shows.
10. Kaysar - Boring Kaysar. He's loved for one line last year, and that's it.
9. Nakomis - It's too bad Nakomis didn't get the chance to play.
8. Jase - He started off on good footing, but tripped ass over tea kettle by Week 2. He isn't cut out for BB.
7. Alison - Of the houseguests to get voted out first, she did the most that she could in just one week. Again, too bad she didn't have a chance to be UltraBitch.
6. Diane - Another played who didn't ever get off and running. Sadly, there's eight people before her that sucked worse than she did, but she did have a good presence for her four weeks on the show.
5. Danielle - The start of the real BB7 players. She played hard, harder than most. But, she played the wrong game completely.
4. James - At an unbiased standpoint, he played very well. But, like Danielle, he just made one too many mistakes and got his head blown off.
3. Howie - Not a strong gameplayer, just a favorite of mine. His presence has been missed since his eviction, and his loyalty to his friends is admirable. Not as much fun as the first time around, but a good guy ... at least when he's talking to friends.
2. Will - The puppetmaster. Not much to explain here. He owned the game, right up until the night before his eviction.
1. Janelle - Again, not much to say. Her eviction was just as painful as last time. In the end, she owned the guy who owned the game. Then, two unlucky HOH comps owned her, and she had no chance to be chosen for final two.

I didn't have time to get as into BB as I usually do so I'm not too pissed about the outcome. It still sucks, but I went into last night's episode expecting Janelle to go so I wasn't surprised. Par for the course really.

As far as the cast goes:

The Best -
Will
Janelle
Danielle
Alislut

The Pretty Good -
Nakomis
Diane
Chicken George

The "eh..." -
Kaysar
Howie
James
Marcellas

The "should not have even been in the top 20" -
Booger
transamErika
Jase

Point being if say Monica/Lisa were in the house over Booger/Erika we would be guaranteed at least an ok final two. But nooo, the producers had to be idjits and let these two slip in the house & UTR their way to the finals. I have hope for next season though, BB6 had some of the most dynamic characters with Janie, Howie, Kaysar, James, Busto & Ivette. Hopefully the same casting folks are working and they aim for people like them next season (and ditch all the twisty "guess how they know each other!" crap).
