And the system officially crashed. Babel is also sold out. I found that out before the crash.

Oh goodness. Toronto is apparently a way bigger festival than Tribeca. Now that I think about it, its probably one of the top three I know (Cannes and Sundance being the other two). Sorry Neo, that's just insane. Keep trying, maybe you'll get lucky on one of them. At this point, price of ticket won't be the limiter, it'll be raw theatre capacity that dictates if you see a film or not.
Keep us updated. Manny? Are you trying to go to catch any film?

Lads the solution is simple. Bring a machete to the cinema you're guaranteed entry.

There were thousands lined up to get tickets at the place selling tickets yesterday. It was on Bay and Bloor.

I've been busy with school the last 2 days, but I think i'm catching a midnight showing of severance and hopefully an early showing of the fountain. I just have to hear back from a friend first.

Severance is a great movie hope you enjoy it.
I'll be interested to get you're view on The Fountain as well.

I'm hoping I get to see the Fountain, I'm going to stand in the last minute ticket line in case people don't come. Severance is easier to get tickets bc its a midnight showing, so i won't have to wait in a line for that one.
In another note, Michael Moore is pissing off some canadians. LoL.
So far these are his comments:
“I never go to bed,†he said. “You can't sleep these days if you're an American.â€Â
He's not impressed with our new Conservative government led by Prime Minister Stephen Harper.
“Thanks for letting us down,†he said. “You're supposed to be leading the way.â€Â

Well, I work for Bell, and had tickets last night to the showing of Borat. I also caught a glimpse of Sam Jackson last night. He looked tres cool. Michael Moore was also in attendance last night and the projector stopped working about 10 minutes into the show and Moore interviewed "Borat". Very funny stuff. As for the fillm, very funny stuff.
As for Moore, his comments are always tongue in cheek when it comes to Canada.
