 Say Anything...
Say Anything... Quote: Say Anything... is a 1989 American romantic comedy-drama film written and directed by Cameron Crowe. It was Crowe's directorial debut. In 2002, Entertainment Weekly ranked Say Anything... as the greatest modern movie romance, and it was ranked number 11 on Entertainment Weekly's list of the 50 best high-school movies.
The film follows the relationship between Lloyd Dobler (John Cusack), an average student and aspiring kickboxer, and Diane Court (Ione Skye), a lovely valedictorian, immediately after their graduation from the same high school.

One of Cusack's best.

I am shocked, and disappointed, cancel your Labor Day plans!
Cusack is awesome, Ione Sky is awesome, it also has John Mahoney and Lili Taylor, and I was so Diane Court in high school, go watch this movie now, damnit.

All plans were cancelled as soon as I made my dentist appointment.
My main video store has a space for it, but it was never in, so I think somebody never returned it. I did catch it on TV about 6 month ago, but it was 20 minutes into it and I didn't want to watch it like that.
I definitely need to finally see it.

Dentist, that sucks, blind buy it, I guarantee you will not regret, and I never do such things.

Wow, woman, that's pretty high praise coming from somebody who's seen every teen romance ever made. (or was that not a literal comment?)

I still think Better off Dead and One Crazy Summer were better Cusack teen films, but this is a classic romance as well. A-

I love, love, love this movie. John Cusack is brilliant. A realistic teen romance, with a very solid cast and some very funny moments. Just great. A

 Re: Say Anything...
I wasn't completely in love with this because of the ending but Cusack is mesmerizing in this and romantic elements while they feel cliched now have an originality and honesty to them that I haven't seen in many romantic movies yet. The supporting cast weren't that given much screen time and I felt Cusack's past isn't explored enough but overall its a great romantic movie.
