Post Can The History Boys Repeat Its Tony Success At The Oscars?
I haven't had the chance to see The History Boys, neither on Broadway or back in the UK.

But everyone who sees it, loves it. I won 6 out of the 7 Tonys it was nominated for this year.

Here's a link to the trailer

Dead Poets Society for Brits.

For what? Best Picture?

What, are you the Fox Searchlight fanboy? ;)

No chance at Best Picture.

Fox Searchlight also has Little Miss Sunshine and The Last King of Scotland to worry about, and I seem to remember you pimping the former.

I think for Best Pic, if it's really great, it will get lost in the mix. Its best chances are in the acting categories. Nicholas Hytner and Alan Bennett scored before with The Madness of King George (actor, s. actress, a. screenplay, and a win for art direction). Hytner also directed The Crucible which got some nominations as well, so his track record for plays turned into films looks okay.
