 Factotum
Didn't see a thread for this yet so here goes...
I know Lecter has seen it, has anyone else? Did I just completely miss the point, which seems to be a problem with me and "alter ego" films (see my scathing Fight Club review in Everyone's a Critic)...
I just found it very bland and not all that interesting. Sure, Dillon did a fantastic job, but the film wasn't that interesting otherwise. There were a few bits and pieces of great dialogue, the rest was just average. The production wasn't great and the end...yeah I had major issues with the ending.
Anyway, I'd probably give the film a C+. Anyone else care to comment?

It's not a film for everyone, but I liked it. Of course it was mostly due to Dillon's superb performance (the best of his career). If there was any justice, he'd be up for Best Actor. I thought it was quite an appropriate, though quirky portrayal of an alcoholic. Not a perfect film with a lot of redundant bits, but I was sasisfied.
I also really liked the song that played in the film and during the credits.

I agree that Dillon was fantastic but to me he just couldn't save the film. Oh well, I was kind of looking forward to it.
